What filler do you use

Yeah im not liking the seed beads, My 3rd and 4th bags both have seed beads...they dont do much of anything but take up space in my opinion, very little pop to em. My second bag was a mix of lead shot 7.5 and poly. I love that bag, its veeeery comparable to an abshire a-910 mini, except I used less stitches, only 2 pent and 3 hex, plus its about 53 grams, so it stalls way better. I cant wait to break that one in.

Im hoping freedom starts selling the beads from pf. That way everyone can have polys as well as their other fillers...just for some variety.

You can also buy the grinding shot off of ebay, but its reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy expensive. They have carbon steel, chrome plated steel, stainless steel. Only a few of them are small enough to be footbag worthy. But its like 4 oz for like 25 bucks...zinc plated is good, and ALOT cheaper. 5 pounds for 13 bucks or so plus shipping. Or 10 for 17 plus shipping, not a bad deal if you cant find steel shot where you live...like me.

Here is where to get some steel shot in Canada. He is also getting into bismuth production, but will only be going as small as size 6. Pretty pricey too.

He carries, steel, lead (plated too), tungsten, bismuth.

Is there any way that I can get the kidney stones of famous footbag players? Cleaver? Jorden?

I ask this because Vasek is not replying to my e-mails, and I think this stuff makes for some great footbag fill.

i use planet footbag stuff and some plastic beads i get out of hacky sacks.

sometimes i use a secret incredient wich amkes the bags realy soft and snuggly

pubric hair is also good! but you need lots of it!

i want to also adress some to the "lead faction": if you use lead, and i did for a long time, the lead will produce a dark slimy thing coming out of the bag every wash, you may know that, but, and thats what makes lead bad in my eyes, the slimy stuff wont go away. you cant fully wash it out of a bag, it will jsut sit on the inside of the bag and make the bag stiff - thus breakable. my bags last so much longer, and are so much softer since i dont use lead anymore. try to find another heavy filler, it will realy make a difference!

you can get all the grey runoff out of a lead bag. I wash my lead bags until the water runs perfectly clear of soap and lead oooze.

Some lead shot is made to be denser than other types of lead shot. You need to have a good eye for this, I think.

I know of several people's lead shot not going gunky: Matt Cross, Jochen Bauer (when he used to use lead, and still stitched), and I think Fletcher Funk?

A good sign to look for in the denser type of lead shot is to find it having a rough exterior. It also helps to find an appropriate soap to wash bags, but even that field is not very controlled due to the different methods of washing.

yes i know, it can be washed till water comes clear, but open the bag, right after washing, it will be black on the inside.

but i think what waylon said may be true, tho i used to use the same lead as jochen, for a while at least. and as i recall he used fishing weights... at least when i talked to him about this, and this was a cloudy late night somewhen in prague....

Except it doesn't come in bulk orders and instead comes in like 55 grams each for like $2.50 I think. Which isn't bad since most people sell for like $20-30 a bag. I'm gunna order some soon and try it out, maybe mixing it with lead and poly pellets from an old hacky sack.

GMoney's post made it sound like 55g, so when I checked out the site I was taken-in as well. I was really excited, 'cause that price for 55g is super awesome (for Canada anyway). I will probably try some of this out anyway when I have money to spare.

Daryl said that he may start stocking facile too!! That would be incredible!
