Quantum Eggbeater (Boulderbeater)

Post by janis »

recently I have been drilling quantum really hard and also been drilling eggbeaters a lot. So a few days back I ducked a few quantum sets and was hitting pixie egg bsos quite easily (all barefoot) so I thought I'd try quantum eggbeater. After a few attempts I realised I actually have no idea how this move is meant to be done, so any tips are greatly appreciated.

I cannot understand what you're asking. If you can hit a set so that you can duck it, and you can hit the downtime component, and let's face it, toe bedwetter is far easier than ducking quantums, how can you have no idea how it is hit? Surely you can work out the tips for yourself?

Plant the quantum set super fast and begin the eggbeater as early as you can.

There are no secret tips to this move; it's just a quantum set and then an eggbeater. If you can't understand how to hit this move, you need to spend longer skooling components.

jeremy beat me to that answer.

I guess if you wanted to do a bunch of eggbeaters and find out the exact point in space that you have to set to to get a comfortable eggbeater, and then drill your quantum sets with the goal of getting the back to that exact same spot, that could help.

you might not read his advice that way, but really, what jeremy said should be encouraging. Drill the uptime, then drill the downtime.

Then, do the quantum on the way up and the eggbeater on the way down. no secrets.

okay, here's another tip. Make sure you're not transferring your weight after quantum in a way that makes it hard for you to eggbeater. Make sure you're doing quantum in such a way that it leaves you centered, comfortable, and in balance.

if you're having a hard time and you can't figure out why, maybe it's not the technicality of the trick, but rather your balance and tension mid-trick.
BRICK!
