Meh just bored and decided to drop by again. Of course just wondering, if you have been injured what do you do when hurt?
So far with the bad knee I really can't work out as much as I like, so I've gained a few pounds : Of course I'm doing a few workouts to help my knee, but besides that of course!
I like wood working during periods when I either am injured or need a break. I keep telling myself I'll get good at guitar someday too, but that hasn't happened yet.
I just keep playing, even though I'm injured. I do this so that I never get healthy, It's really cool and fun. My knee has been hurting me for like a year now, but it only hurts for one day after i play, then it feels fine. I wish it would never hurt but what are you gonna do. I think if I rested for 2 or 3 months i would come back and the same thing would happen again, so whatever. if you have good advice give it up please.
If you are able to work on your flipside thats good. But most people aren't lucky enough to injure something that will still allow you to work on your flipside.
Unfortunately, my bad knees made me one of the unluckies.
In the short times I was injured before this most recent injury I learned to juggle 3 balls, 4 balls, some tricks with 3 ball, and 3 clubs, I did cross training, and now, I haven't played since August 24, I've been cross training and I picked up a new hobby, longboarding.
i dont really get injured to the point i have to stop, but i do take lots of footbag breaks, just in case. my knees ache, or my back aches (like muscle strain, or just overworked joints) after most sessions. so its usually one weekly session if at all.
i stitch, homework, yoyo, screenprint/monoprint/linoprint, play RE4, or just do nothing (rare) in the footbag off time.
