Ok, I have two whole days off of school after tomorrow, and I can't sleep, so I'll just write what I want to get done tomorrow and tuesday and look at it later.
-Stand up straight and work on posture
-Stay relaxed
-Stay up on balls of feet
-Stall deeper
-Concentrate on breathing
-Land 12 consecutive illusions
-Lift weights and stretch out back/core afterwards

Can't sleep, so I thought I'd just write in here for a bit. I've been working on Anz's training program thing since Tuesday the 13th, I believe. I do feel like I'm getting better, although some of the program isn't very fun. Here's the list of my personalized program, for 8 sessions, playing 1-2 days, resting 1-2 days:
Legover x 60
Mirage x 30 bs
ss Clipper > op Clipper > rpt x 80 contacts
Mirage > Mirage > Legover > Legover > Legover > rpt x four times
Mirage > Illusion > Mirage > Legover > Pickup > Legover > rpt x twice
The legover and mirage stuff isn't very fun, but I can feel improvement in them all. I believe that so far I've had 3 sessions using this program. I want to play more though, and now more than ever, but I can't because one I'm not supposed to use ^^those concepts if I continue my session after the program, two, I have to have some days off, and three, I'm fucking bored as hell all the time and footbag is pretty much how I stay sane and entertained for the day. For the sake of helping out Anz and possibly the entire footbag community by seeing if his methods work, I'll still do it, and wouldn't ever dream of backing out, but I can't handle playing as little as I'm playing right now. I like playing whenever I feel like it (which is usually everyday) for as long of a timeperiod as I can, working on many different concepts (although this program has made me realize that I shouldn't jump around so much, but rather stay focused on one concept at a time.)
I can't wait to be guiltless though. I'm getting sick as fuck of this stupid tiltless shit. I mean, not like I'm going to be like "well now I'm guiltless so I can forget tiltless" or anything, but I want more than just like 6 tricks.
My favorite part about footbag is playing in public and having people be like "holy shit." Even if I'm still not that good yet, people are still amazed. It's like the best feeling in the world. Even if a couple people make deragatory remarks to you, it still doesn't bother you. I love Vasek's "King of Footbag" video where like 50ish (I have no idea how many, actually) people are standing around and watching him. I can only imagine the rush you get from having that many people watch you.
I think that my footbag dream is to one day make BAP. Actually, fuck that. I think that's my life's dream. I remember watching Worship the Sack at the end part, where David Clavens got inducted, and I was just in like total awe of it all. Which is weird because when I first heard about BAP I was like "well that's stupid."
My posture's been getting better also. One of the main things Anz has me working on in the training program is posture and feeling like I have all the time in the world to dex. I've also been working out my back and bought a balance board and a swiss ball to work on my core and balance. My knees been bothering me a little too (not too much though) so I might want to do some knee exercises like squats and lunges and stuff to work that out.
I'm working a late shift at Ralph Lauren this friday (Black Friday), from 10 pm to 7 am
It's gunna suck, but I get time in a half (that's $12 an hour for working not even an entry level job) and with the money I'm gunna buy more facile and start stitching again, along with buying BOTS, which I still haven't seen yet, and I'm really excited about seeing it.
I could use some challenges, also. Anyone reading this challenge me
Well, that's all that's going on for me in the world of footbag and in the real one, so nite-nite modified.

Conseq. butterflies are always a good challenge work that.
As far as your life goal being to make bap... thats really cool, and I was there too, but it may burn you out. Let bap happen, don't kill yourself for it. Just keep things in perspective. But either way, good luck on trying to join the ranks.

Thanks David. I'm kinda using BAP as more of a source of inspiration, to kinda push me when I feel like shit. I don't want it to be like this giant burden that makes me play when I don't want to play. If it got to that point I'd probably just quit; I don't want to feel like I'm forced to play.
On a side note, I was playing laser tag with a group of people today, and my feet are killing me from the shitty shoes I was wearing. I probably won't shred tomorrow but instead work out my legs (especially my knees) since they've been bothering me while I've been playing. Probably some leg presses and some balance board/swiss ball exercises focusing on legs. While I'm thinking about it, might as well work out my back/chest/abs while I'm at it to fix my slouch. I should be doing that more anyways.

I had the weirdest dream, it was me putting on pajamas and going to sleep. As soon as I fell asleep I woke up (in real life, not in the dream.) That pretty much shows what goes on in my head 24/7.
While I was working out today, I figured out a kind of training program kind of based off of the one Anz gave me. I'll start with it as soon as I'm done with his, although I'm ashamed to admit that I'm only halfway done with his and some people are already done
Although, others might have less sessions than me for all I know. All that I really know is that he said to take a 1-2 day break for every 1-2 days played, and that's what I've been doing. The training program I made strongly focuses on a different move or concept or set every day plus a workout afterwards to work on my core or back or legs or something. All I have right now is an idea though, I don't know how well it will work.

2 bag juggling with one foot is becoming easier now, at first I was all about just getting the rhythm, then it was about having the bags go in circles to avoid knocking each other, and now I'm making sure my foot's going straight up and down (instead of going in a circle) and after that I'm going to make it cleaner.
I feel like my basics are shit now. The problem was when I first started I was already building stupid habits and having bad form. I'm growing out of that now, but now I've lost the ability to do long strings and keep the bag off the ground. Its not a problem, I'd like to have decent form, but I feel like it could have been avoided if I realized I had such bad form. I dunno. I'm coming up with a training program, with a new concept that uses sets instead of a very large number. When I was using Anz's I got too tired from doing like 60 contacts per move. If I do like 6 sets of 10 per each trick, I feel like I would benefit more because I'm not building bad habits or sloppyness, and still doing a lot of work. 6 sets of 10 is just an example btw. Then after awhile, I could see how many I could do total and change it to like 6 sets of 12 or 7 sets of 10 or something. I'm still contemplating. Plus, a workout to go with it.
Shit, it's like a million o'clock and I promised I'd go to sleep earlier. I've only been getting like 6-7 hours of sleep a night. Stupid internet, fuck you.
Oh yeah, Anz's sessions completed

I recorded another short string of myself again. I can see that I'm improving, little by little. I'm lighter on my feet, I'm breathing deeper, my back is straigher, my trick-to-trick-ness is a lot slower (not in a retarded way, but in a relaxed way). One thing I need to pay more attention to is what my arms are doing. I'll put it up on youtube later, but right now youtube is under site maintenance. Meanwhile, if Jorden didn't make it onto the top 5 for famecast, I'll be pissed.
Edit: Damn!
Jorden made 7th. I'm pissed.
Edit 2: oh yeah I forgot about the video I said I'd post.

So today pretty much rocked. So I'm in band and stuff, and we have to play at the basketball games, and we play on a balcony with bleachers. So I got a couple of my friends (not very good, but still someone to kick with) to start a circle and play. The basketball team played two games, so we had like four hours to play instrument>shred>play instrument>shred>rpt x idk. So we're playing behind the bleachers in the balcony gym. Everyones like kicking it once and I'm shredding the best I've ever done before. Little did I know, that's where the varsity cheerleaders warm up also. So it was like half the gym was our circle and half the gym was the varsity cheerleaders. I guess that they saw me shredding and didn't pay attention to cheerleading. I just barely overheard, but I guess the coach gave them a little talk about not getting distracted no matter who or what is there. I'm so fucking awesome
I was also playing my best, hitting a couple pixie op butterflies, a few ripwalks (still one sided), a few drifters (also one sided) and I think I hit pixie mirage like 3-4 times. Then both games ended and I didn't want to go home. Oh yeah and I was told in my newest video that I slouch when hitting hard moves, so there's something else I can work on. My regular slouch has generally gotten better, but I'm not yet fully satisfied with it. Aaaand that's it.
I always thought my dad's big mouth was a curse. We were having my skis adjusted at Sports Authority, and I got a helmet because when I go skiing in Colorado I want to do some of the more dangerous runs without getting my head split open. So my dad says to the guy "yeah my son does footbag" to the guy. I got all angry because he said it so stupidly, and I was like "Dad, you're talking to people who don't even know what that is." Then the guy said "yeah, I used to do that in High School. I used to have a friend who used to do freestyle and go to tournements and even go to peoples' houses."
Brian Parsons was the guy who freestyled. I was amazed that someone had actually heard of footbag beyond hacky snacking. It was pretty awesome, I must say. I didn't get that guy's name though, but I've seen him at Sports Authority before, so I might see him again.

So I finished my session today, and got this sudden urge to go back downstairs and kick more. Out of the blue--
Butterfly>drop

It was like a call from God or something. Pretty awesome since the most I've done in a row is 4.
Which means I've only got like 4 challenges left in my challenge blog so somebody challenge me!!!!!!!!

So right now I'm working on the very basics of basics: kicks, toe, and inside stalls. 7 days of that and I'm going to work on 3 different tricks for 7 sessions, etc..
I hit blur today
I believe that I'm progressing moderately to moderately fast, and I want to keep it that way. I'm suprised it took that short of a time after I fixed my posture to fix my tricks (once I fixed my posture I could like barely hit anything).
I think that my training thingy is working. I'm doing 3 certain tricks for 7 sessions, starting out with the easiest and working my way up. I wrote down the maximum number I've ever hit all my tricks, and what I'm doing is three sets of half the maximum number, so I end up training that trick about 150% a day. At the last session I'm going to give myself a little self progress test to see how much I improved, and I can almost guarantee my max will increase at least a little every week. Then move onto harder tricks, then start over. I should also work a few drills into that. The reason why I think this works is because I'm doing a lot of that trick, while not getting tired and lazy and sloppy. If I drop, I start over. While I was doing Anz's training program I got too tired and worn down. I'd drop, then do a trick, then drop it right afterwards. I was setting myself up with too much of a bad habit. Plus, right now my max numbers for almost all of my tricks are low, so I can concentrate on landing it perfectly and not going too fast or making bad habits.
Uh, that's it.

Aww man, I really want to go to NYJ
My family's one big guilt trip.
"You'd rather go to a hacky sack show than to Colorado skiing?"
"You don't see your sister that often. If it means that much, go to your footbag thing."
I missed it last year for the same reason, because of her. Theres no way I'm missing it next year. I told my mom that I wasn't missing it, no matter what. Another guilt trip. Oh well, the tickets to CO have already been bought, so no use beating myself up.

I need to take a break for a couple days. My calves are really sore from jumproping, the outside muscle of my lower left leg is sore from drilling inside stalls, my toenails are sore from not cutting them in awhile, and the bottoms of my feet are sore. So maybe 2-3 days break.
I ordered some more facile from Field's, about $50 worth. I figure that my bag making isn't good enough to sell here on modified, so I'm just going to sell them to my friends for like $8 each. I figure that's a reasonable price, plus I got like 5 people already willing to buy one, so that almost pays for all the facile I'm buying already. But first I need to get the facile in the mail

Hey Grant. I don't think i've ever seen one of your bags? maybe you should post a few pictures and get some tips or advice.
I started off selling my bags to friends too. But i sold the 32's for 20 bucks and 4 panels for 5. I made like 200 bucks and i don't think i've seen anyone i've sold one to use it or even sill have it.
Maybe we could trade someday if you'd like

@Ben: I had a couple pics in the 'post your bags' section, and the very last bag I made was the best one, but by that time I used up my last bit of facile. When I get more I'll make another bag and post the pictures on here. I figure my starting price should be pretty low, since I've only made one good bag, and haven't even really experimented with too many fillers yet.
@Holly: Yay!
I can't wait. Tell me when you're done and I'll pm you my address.
