Last week, i was joggin home from school (I was kinda in a hurry), in the snow, in skate shoes. I know. bad idea. Anyway, I didnt twist anything, or anything bad like that, but one of my steps just felt really weird, like I landed just a bid wrond, and took the shock of impact badly. When I got home I had a little sore spot on the outside edge of my foot, just forward of heel, where the food gets a little bit thinner before widening out into the toes.
Anyway, I got home, and iced it a bit, but it didnt seem to be swelling, so after a couple of 10 minute icing sessions, I gave it up. Didn't think of it till today, when after a decent shred session, where I didn't feel any pain from playing whatsoever, I've noticed the pain is a little aggravated again. Doesn't affect me walking, doesn't seem to affect any of my range of motion, just hurts to the touch.
Anyone experienced this/have any idea what it might me?

I've got something similar right now from gymnastics last night. Mine's kinda bad though, I can't put much pressure on my heel without pain.
I have a tender spot on the side of my heel too that hurts to the touch.
Sounds like you've slightly bruised your heel where the fat pad got squeezed to the side of the foot and your heel bone is now slightly less protected from impact. The nurse told me this when I called telehealth today.
Just rest and keep off it as much as possible for a few days and the pain should go away. Wear a soft insole.
Best of luck to you for a speedy recovery.
