I have Saffron.
I like it a LOT!
It's super duper choice. Very similar to tulip, but more choice!
I don't know about durability extensively. But my favourite of my own bags that I've played with the most is half Saffron, and it is sooooooooo perfect, and so choice, and no holes... so...
It may be my favourite colour that I have.

country cream - solid, well-rounded.
black noir -solid, well-rounded.
lapis - thin like Atlantis. I don't see how this color is thick.
colonial red - Choice. One of my favorites.
stone gray - Choice.
saffron - thin, but weak. Feasible for instant shred bags.
cinnabar - a weaker Colonial Red. Could get holey and a bit pilly.

I think saffron as a hex color makes the bag super choice.
It reminds me of eclipse.
I think the next bag I'm gonna get is a saffron hex/country cream pent bag.
