hey guys. so me and yogan need some other people to shrd with. does anyone want to come next weekend and shred for saturday and sunday? we live in talent and medford, OR, but we could meet up anywhere around that area, like ashland, medford, or talent, or phoenix. so if anyone is interested (cougheugeneguyscough), PM me and ill give you locations, cell #s, etc. please, we need someone to shred with!!! AAAAAAH!!!!

i dont think it matters how good you guys are for people to shred with you, it just depends on location, you cant expect people who barely know you well to just leave on a whim to come kick with you, although Aaron and James ARE pretty cool.

hey danny, back off. again, weve driven on a greyhound for 8 hours just for 5 hours of shred in eugene.... andi have to drive two towns over anytime i play with yogan, which i do weekly at least..... so i tink asking someone to come here for once isnt too much to ask. maybe the title is lame, but then ill change it, alright? basic rule of posting: assume nothing about the other person.

So it seems you've played at moderate sized jam in Eugene, you have a shred buddy two towns over, I believe you went to world's, and you're going to New Years Jam too (if I recollect correctly) and yet you're not getting enough shred with other people?

It's other people's job to provide you with shred partners? You sound very self-important and selfish. Also, be realistic, unless you were very good, someone was in the general area already, or someone was a good friend of yours, why would they go way out of their way to come to you?

I'm also not sure what you meant by "basic rule of posting: assume nothing about the other person." Was it a non sequitor? I'm not sure what I assumed about you.

I don't see anything wrong with your attempts or your motives, but I have real doubts that they're going to work for you. Play in public, and get really good so that when people see you, they think footbag is cool and not lame.

I don't think we will be able to make it this weekend, but we should set something up before too long. I know the portland crew is coming down here soon so maybe we can work something out when that gets finalized. I have some work functions I am going to this weekend and Aaron works most of the day on the weekends. I'm sure he can reschedule his work with enough notice though. You guys are fun to kick with so we will get something going in the near future.

the problem with the rouge valley is that it's so far away. If we could arrange a weekend in Eugene that we all meet so that it's a better commute and we could come back the next day or that night.

Damn, I need to get on modified more...

I can't make it down to the rogue anytime soon. I'm pretty packed as far as my schedule is concerned and need about a one month notice before I make any plans like that. I can say that Portland crew is coming down this Sunday (see other thread) and Riley is in town so we can set up whatever you like. If you want to get a hold of me or James though, PM us and don't make threads because we rarely see them.
