ok, i know it can be done..... in fact i just went and did it. im just saying its really difficult for me to do midstring right now, unless im TOTALLY focused on it. cause my crank is very mediocre.

in other news, i have some panels cut out for a new bag that i took from some old bags of mine... i feel sort of bad chopping up bags for material.... but thank goodness i wont have to for the next one. an awesome pro shredder offered to send me some facile for some bags, and im ecstatic and totally grateful for it. (i wont say who so everyone new doesnt go flying to him asking for free facile haha. but you know who you are... thanks alot bro) so yeah im excited for that. and NYJ just might be possible for me in chicago... woot! ill let yall know soon. later, thanks for reading!

well i went thorugh lots, but i finally got a ticket to NYJ!!!! its going to be sweet. i think yogan might come too. i finished the aforementioned bag, and it really is my best yet. ive said that evrytime, but this one is flawless, other then it being too small. but other than that, stitches are even, its round, and all the pents are the same size, and no exposed stitches. i really like it, i wish i had a camera to post it with. well, if any stitchers want to give me valuable advice early on in the stitching game, id be really happy. im also waiting for a roy footbag in the mail.... and fabric. wootwoot. thanks guys, peace

BUMBAGE. That session today was awesome. We need to have more sessions like that. Thanks again for the shoes man, i love em. Now i actually have a choice what i wear for shred. I also hit a bunch of new stuff in those shoes, so yeah, SICK. Keep working dude, and get some tips on your osis at NYJ, cause none of my advice will help you right now, I think it's all a matter of form for that trick, but whatever. We need to shred again, and with that awesome camera you got. Next time dude, next time. Until then, shred on.

great session today with yogan in the gym at a high school during a basketball practice =) lots of good stuff:

- smudge bs! yes!!!!
- obvioulsy, my illusions are ALOT cleaner
- string length is getting great! 15-20 touches most times. (tiltless with threes)
- yogan hit dyno bsos. awesome.
- he figured out how to clean up his torques
- nemesis (jk)

i think that eggbeater is a definite possiblity in the near future... gonna drill illusions and symple legovers. my toe game is sweet, i love it! and our video seems to be a somewhat success..... next one will be EVEN better! later guys, comments please!!!

still didnt try eggbeater, cement was brutal today. i will soon after i get a mat or something. its awesome, me and yogan are meeting up almost everyday. i like it, it keeps my agme improving. i love barefoot play, its so muc hfun for some reason. and cody rushing has become my hero hah. is he on modified? "codexterity?" anyways... i cant wait for NYJ, it will be awesome. ive improved CRAZILY since worlds, so i hope to see some poeple i saw there. and i wont feel like a TOTAL noob hah. my string length is again becoming better.... i hit my longest string yet todya, probably 25-30 contacts. dropped wheen i moved to uneven ground, grrr.

also, i had been looking at myself play in mirrors and videos for awhile and knowing that something was off, but i couldnt tell what.... then i had it pointed out to me. when i set, i was turning my knee inwards. it looked really dumb actually. so ive been retraining myself not to, which is very difficult, but my style is loads better, and tricks feel cleaner. im glad i caught it now at least. well, i hope someone will give me some tips on barefoot play at NYJ.... later yall

Hey buds. Here's a bit of my barefoot game you probably haven't seen. It's just some footage from the days when I could put weight on my ankle:

http://qphox.perpetuality.ca/footbag/05 ... record.mov
http://qphox.perpetuality.ca/footbag/3dex_rpt.mov

It's definitely fun, but don't get too ahead of yourself. Dial your basics dude.

I challenge you to hit:
(1) legover x5 > ss legover x5 > rpt
(2) mirage x5 > ss mirage x5 > rpt
(3) pickup x5 > ss pickup x5 > rpt
(4) illusion x5 > ss illusion x5 > rpt

Once you can throw any of those strings first try, you'll probably find your game has improved drastically.

...and then you'll be able to hit (1) > (2) > (3) > (4) like nothing.

well..... looking at the last photos on this thread makes me want to puke. =( my stitching is so much better now, its not even in the same class. i cant wait to post pictures. thanks to all the stitchers at nyj who helped me out, especially david and emily. nyj was so fun..i was going to do a writeup on it that was super long, but i sort of waited to long and now its not quite so vivid. its crazy how highlights of life can just fade away slowly like that. anyways....

i still cannot makeup my mind. barefoot.shoes.barefoot.shoes. im so comfortable barefoot, and feel so much more confident and skilled. but i know that my clipper game will be nonexistent if i do. whereas in shoes my clipper game is fine, but im not confident or comfortbale. i am still yet to get my climas, i hope when i do they will be right for me. i want to have the confidence and comfort of my barefoot game matched up with my clippers of shoes. hopefully they will do the trick.

footbag moves:

atomsmasher midstring/pretty consistent.

atomic illusion (name?)

sailing set! very clean catch.

cleared a symposium whirl dex

symple pickups bs

curve (pixie symple pickup)

i really need to sit down with my dads camera and take a buttload of pictures.... i want everyone to see my shoes, new stitched bags, and my bag collection. anyways,

i hit symposium whirl both sides today! it felt awesome. me and yog played a long time, then got tired. we rested up, then went back at hit hard, and bam!symposium whirl, bs. im so proud of that. it was one of those tricks i was always like "ill never hit that...", so i was stoked. the dex on my right side is alot better and more natural, but thats ok... i just have to work the flip more. i actually hit that one first hah. my clippers are getting gnarly and consistent, i love it. infinities are improving massively as well. i got ahold of some climas in my size for 80 bucks. i brought them home, chopped them up according to the mods on here and..... i dont like them. it was very unfortunate, i somehow have come full loop and back to loving my lavers (which is good) at the same time i buy 80 climas i now cant return(which is bad). and i doubt there is anyone out there that wears size 14 climas. but like i said, i love my lavers again, and am already getting hugely better than i could ever have playing barefoot. so im pretty sure that phase is over. i wish i hadnt wasted anytime.... oh well. tonight i powersanded the heck out of my lavers for flexpoints, less weight, and just to make them look crazy. ill post a pic soon, just wait. im going to try and make it to the cali jam on the feb 14th weekend. i hope it would work out, id love to get some bags from richie while im there and show off my new skills and lavers. also i want to hang out with emily, she was so awesome and nice at nyj to me, i have to make it up to her, like with a bag or something. im going to try and eat well from now on, like less sugars and soda and junk with more fruits and veggies. and do some exercises a friend showed me to muscle up my legs.... ive realized you need some massive exertions for symposium tricks, and im sure it just gets gruntier as you go along. today inspired me.... i can actually see myself getting pretty good now. yay footbag.

symposium really shouldnt take MUCH more effort than anyother trick, practicing symposium mirages will help that. So for your bodys sake i recommend not practicing symp whirl until your body is ready for it. practicing stuff when your clearly not ready for is how you get injurys and bad form ;)
