Symposium Productions V2's First Film (Please Criteque)
I bring the first ever film to feature My shred buddie Cale McCoy. It's my first super serious footbag film, so please don't flame me if it stinks. But anyways, here you go, enjoy. Oh and another thing, i love comments.

Hey Eoghan (how do you pronounce that? is it your first name?)
I thought your game looks like you have a nice foundation on both sides, and your dexes look efficient/good form to me. Nice job.
For your friend Cale, I'm not personally a fan of playing or watching barefoot, but that's just a personal preference I guess.

I'm glad to see this video was focused on tiltless runs rather than you guys showing off trying to hit a bunch of big-add one-off tricks (as many n00b videos are). Your foundations look pretty solid. So props on staying focused on the fundamentals before moving on to the bigger stuff.
Eoghan your ankle crank is really something. I'm jealous. From the looks of your osis you will probably be hitting torques and dynos all over the place eventually.
As for the filming and editing, I'm no expert but here are mycomments:
-Trying to find a lighter spot/time to edit. It was pretty dark and a lot of times difficult to see what you were doing. The scenes with Cale in black socks in a dark room were very hard to follow what he was doing. Next time film during the day, or in a better lit area.
-YouTube is pretty low quality. Please consider paying the $10 to become a footbag.org tier 1 member. You get unlimited video upload space and support the sport by doing it.
Otherwise, keep up the good work. Keep making videos too. The more you make the better you'll get at filming and editing. Just like footbag, experience is the best teacher.

It is my first name, but it's pronounced Owen. The spelling is Irish. Thanks for the feedback. It's to bad we didn't have the camera earlier in the day, Cale was playing ten times better, in shoes to. Anyway he's going to NYJ, so that should help his game a lot. As for me, i barely ever get a chance to go to any events. I have to tell my parents about it like 4 weeks in advanced, and it has to be within driving distance. Only event I've been to was SJFF6 which was really sweet. Anyways, on with the comments.Hey Eoghan (how do you pronounce that? is it your first name?)

hey yeah and by the way, your name is my favorite name in Irish. I had a friend who's name was eoin. That's the other way to spell your name. And I just thought it was spelled owen for the longest time till I saw him spell it and I was all confused. But then I realized it was just the Irish spelling and I went nuts. Amazing. And yours is cool too.
so anyway, the video. @ eoghan - I knew you'd like frigid osis / zooming set. You're good and controlled. Actually in general I was really impressed with how you seem to be on top of every trick. Props
@ Cale - Yes. Your toe game is very solid and your shuffle is going to explode very soon. Looking forward to it.
though the video was a little long, I didn't mind TOO much just because you two are progressing so fast that I was kept on the edge of my seat waiting for a paradon swirl or something crazy like that. But your strings are all very entertaining. Not too into switchfoot myself but I always thought it'd be a cool footbag company/club name so I'm glad you included it. Thanks for sharing!

haha thanks pat. yeah, my toe game is getting great.... i just hit smudge bs today =) thank you all for the comments. yeah, we filmed in my kitchen at night. it was our first video with my new camera, so the lighting problem critique is understood and agreed. switchfoot would be a cool footbag club name... switchfooters or something.
omg. eoghans crank is the envy of my life. its so great, but hes always like "its not that good..." than i smack him and he shuts up. seriously, its great man.
hey ben.... could you pm me details on how to become a .org teir 1 member? i would do that for sure.... and you should send me something else too, if you catch me
next video will be great, i can feel it!

I really liked that video. I felt weird when i watched that.. It wasn't like watching a Vasek vid or a David Clavens vid that just blows you away. I finda felt sympathy, i don't know how to say it.., because you guys are dishing out moves i've seen and some of them i hit and the rest are easily within my grasp unlike sick combos hit by the pros.
I would just work on the lighting next time. I loved the song btw. Good work guys.

Smooth styles, both of ya. Props.
I gotta agree with my man Iron Clad -- good trick selection. Nice to see your games have good flow, rather than just watching some newbs flail and look sloppy trying to crank-out a big move.
Eoghan, love the frigid-osis. Those are great. I really loved the one string with > osis > pick-up > reverse whirl > frigid-osis > pick-up > in the middle. I'll say again, smooth, with really good flow... very nice.
Criticisms: I hate the sideways-camera thing. Annoys the hell out of me. Also, like somebody already said, the vid could use more light. It seemed to me like you had more light available to you but failed to make use of it, like, lights are on in the kitchen, but the hallway or den just next to you are not lit. When I play inside a house I try to use just about all the light I can, whether or not I'm filming (who am I kidding? I never film at all...)

I guess turning on more lights didn't occur to me, and sorry about the sideways thing. We wanted whole bodies in the shot, but i didn't realize until i was editing that it filmed it sideways to, oh well, that wont happen again. We'll have a new vid soon, i want to make another one before Cale leaves for Chicago, the lucky child... Oh, and IronClad, you're right, I'm starting to throw Dyno like crazy, i hit dyno>dyno today, felt awesome. Also working those torques, be ready, I'll be a tad bit better in this next vid.

Great vid guys! Both of your games are improving really fast! Keep going with the tiltless with 3s thrown in here and there it will continue to make your game good and smooth. You guys are still really young too so if you keep at it you can be among the best in no time.
Oh and nice haircuts! You guys should start working ducking/diving clippers, they are a lot easier with super short hair.
I enjoyed the nice long runs with great both sides, you guys look like you are having a lot of fun and that's what its all about. Keep up the fine work.

Eoghan's form is looking very favourable to the future development of his game. Looks very nice.
I don't really like how Cale sets to the outside of his body all the time...I can't really decide why, it just seems like there's a lot more effort going on than needed.
Props to both of you for sticking to fundamentals. That's something everyone can always put work into. Make more videos.
Oh, and thanks to Sam and whoever else sent the PM. Y'all have got my back!

wow, fixing bad from is reealllly hard.... and im not saying that its solely because of this, but my left foot is screwed up, and theres a tendon that is right were the bag should sit. i might eventually get surgery to fix this (tendon lengthening, not just for footbag haha) but in the meantime it makes setting the bag straightlegged hard for my left side.
