got a job.. but havent started yet.. still not feelin safe cuz i dont have a schedueled orientation yet and i dont want something to go wrong and i dont actually start working. once i start working ill be home free cuz ill always be early for shifts and a hard worker. its so hard to get a foot in the door in seattle. geesh

one of those drop sessions today...JD and I were sorta off but we worked through a lot of things and had a good training session.. getting one of the bad sessions out of the way.. then hit the hot tub ohhh yeah

today was amazing!

bike riding..!! me and my buddy maeki who rides a pimp ass fixie went riding.. he taught me to power slide... that was fun.. on a bike.. then i road a fixie for the first time and it was neat but not for me AT ALL!!!! im hard tail or super expensive moutain bike ALL THE WAY.

then stretching and chillen and art and music and poetry and comedy practice..

then shred!

I've never been so wasted EVER as I was just a few hours ago. I'm talking stop the world I want to get off wasted. Completely alchahigh. Completely xmas eve at the CHILLEST cafe/bar EVER. Justin, myself, and our friend Carrie. Dude we DESTROYED IT. I was like to the point where I could not even walk, I was just rolling around. Duddddeee. MY GOD IM STILL FUCKED UP AND ITS 11:18 AM!!!!!! Wow what a party. A good way to bust into fucking sobriety I'm sure!!

WORD!!! I'm gonna need at least like 3 days to recover from this lol.

Wow so... I have a girlfriend now. Her name is Halle B. She is a tattoo'd hippy artist hula hooper. W... T...F.... She is REALLLY in to me. She is accepting, fun, and gorgeous. She is VERY holistic, an ex-vegetarian (like me), and ADVENTUROUS! She lives in bend, OR

so prepare to init L.D.R. but for today (and the next week) we are living together and then travelling to Portland for a limo ride to a sushi dinner and all night dance party with a large group of people. Then Portland shred session on new years day. This woman found me on myspace because of my music, wrote me wet hot poetry about how it made her feel and of course I had to respond, and now the words have permeated and shaped my reality. Of course, like life, nothing is perfect, and the main issue that we have identified so far is that I want kids one day and she doesn't. Normally, this might be a great divider, but even before knowing her I have thought so much about this worlds problems and over population and the number of children needing adoption and my lack of means to support kids at the moment etc etc so it is an interesting mix of ideas to contemplate and consider.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 25 years young, and basically writing the final chapter on the first book of my life (metaphorically speaking). I am very happy with the person I have become, and continue to observe places I need to improve, like honor, determination, and constitution. I feel like I am finally a person who has the ability to add to the movement of positive social change that is growing around the world. I see many paths that stretch out in front of me on the long journey through life, and I wander musically from fork to fork, enjoying the journey more every day, and not fearing the destination unknown.

I am thankful for my friends, some of whom exist partly here on modified. I am thankful for all the ways that footbag has shaped me. I am thankful for all the art that I have created, and every person that I have inspired with it. I am thankful for all my inspirations, my idols, and my teachers. I am thankful for you, right now, reading this, because you have the oppertunity to not only grow from reading this, but to spread positivity throughout your life, and help this earth be a more hospitable place.
