Hello everyone!

I`d like to present you video from first ever Doubles Circle Contest.
It was an experimental competition on NewYears Jam in Slupsk, Poland.
Footfighter crew organised some workshops and little jam. Thanks!

The main subject was Doubles Freestyle Routine Jugding Workshop.
Thanks to Gosia and Ales who supported me in all this project.

As there where no teams with prepared routines, we decided to run this `circle kind` event. The overall format is not ready, yet. I`s all about Hooping in here - the most exciting part in doubles freestyle. 1 drop with passbacks on dropped 1st attempt.

This really cool video. Best doubles video ever! Really enjoy it, but not very happy of not watching it by my self, because i was sleeping next to the circle and nobody woke up me..

I love watching doubles!!! I'm amazed how two people can be so in sync with each other. Sick video some really amazing tricks in there.

It was a pleasure to run this contest, I really think Doubles is a great discipline and it should get more attention from the players. It may be a bit hard to distinguish the moves in the beggining, but if you get into it's crazy

I'm going to practice more Doubles now! Thanks for putting the video online so fast Wiktor, and also for the stunning performance you and Gosia made.

Why, that has to be the biggest advancement in doubles footbag since doubles 9-square!

Big props to you all; that was some amazing stuff. Poland is such a freestyle hot spot so it's always great to see new videos coming out from there. Thank you.

I was lucky to be part of the doubles freestyle workshop of ales in berlin last summer and see what crazy stuff is possible

too bad i didn't practiced it since then

I really like how Doubles are explored more and more every single day. I like that your combos have a lot more nice links everytime I see you playing. I suggest to invent more Clipper tricks. Yves and Toni should share some of their tricks with everyone. They're good at Clipper Doubles. I have to find someone to practice Doubles. There are so many things you can hit there!

About the event. It looks it was amazing! I love Szymon's comments

Cool video, great concept too. Fred and I had "experimented" with similar things: just getting a bunch of team freestylers to shred in a circle. The hardest part is usually to find 3 or 4 teams to play at the same time.

Regarding the shred there was some nice stuff. As usual team freestyle is way too toe-based and should incorporate more clippers. It's not that hard to incorporate all clipper moves (osis / drifter / torque / blender / double downs / butterflies / swirls etc.) in team it just makes it a bit harder to play out of as clippers are usually delayed closer to one's body and the window is smaller to "hoop" with your partner.

Again, cool video, cool concept, I'd love to play team again and try such a format! Maybe at Euros or Worlds.. who knows..

Sorry, I think it was tremendously boring. I wanted to turn it off after the first round, but kept going to give it the benefit of te doubt. I don't think I care to watch it live at a competition either. Doubles has a small niche as it is and it's fun to do, almost fun to watch as a routine, and not so much fun to watch otherwise.

I was talking with Ales about this concept for like five hours. This was in February 2007. I think the system/concept developped since, especially under influence of Ales.
In fact, this concept could revolutionize the double-freestyle-sport. You could do soooooo fancy things in doubles. Ppl just don't play it, I don't know.
uhh I could write down stories...

Whatever. Just keep on kicking tha little ball..

Yes you sure remeber that circel from Lausanne.. it was this super cool circle with the famous French-Connection Max and Fred, and the other guys from Paris.
