Seattle WAS dope. Thanks for the shout out Nate, your the best at Guitar Hero in the whole fucking world.

Good session on Saturday with the crew + Nate. Hit lots of goodies, finally got Montage super clean. James hit Mind Bender, yeah.

Yeah Boyee!

May have already written this in here, but I'm seriously thinking about moving to Eugene after College, either in the fall of 08 or the spring/summer of 09

Hi, this last week has seen only the appearance of James and Myself to push really hard. Kind of disappointing but it has allowed us both to hit new moves and combos that we haven't done before.

Tuesday was sweet, I hit gangsta party and riptide for the first time and spinning blender > food. James managed Mullet, really long and consistent 30+ runs, and combos that I haven't seen him muster before.

Today was even better. James hit rakes for the first time and a bunch of sweet moves into them like whirling rake, paradon rake, butterfly rakes, and dimwalk rakes.

I had the best session I've had in a while for a 205 lb guy. I hit double blender > blurry whirl. Furious illusion (which made me jump up and down since I haven't done anything out of furious but butterflys). I stepped out of my janiwalker to ripwalk and almost to blurriest. Also, I did new combos like flapper kick to pdx blender and I ripped the shit out of my underwear because my legs are too big now to move without doing that. I think it was on a furious set, because that would do it.

Maybe next session we'll get more kickers, who knows.

Yeah only Aaron and I have been coming out recently, but they have been some fun sessions. I may have hit mullet on that first day, but I don't remember. I know I hit stepping ducking osis for the first time... I should be able to hit alpine blurry whirls bs soon.

The second day Aaron was really on hitting great moves and links. He gave you the details on that. He also taught me rakes and they seem really easy now, so I'll probably throw a few variations of that for variety. Also I hit blurrier and scorpions tail on one side and was suuuper close to both on flip side. They should happen next time for sure. Scorpions was my first time that day, and all the new rake moves.

Yo James, I've been really happy to read of your "fun with footbag" types of comments lately. Plus, the tricks you and your shred buddies have been hitting are great! It's really been helping to fuel me in my practices here on the East Coast :-)

Nate showed me vid of him... Did I miss vid of you and Aaron? Would love to see some. Pleaaaaaaaaase? I'd consider it a christmas present.

Boo this man!

haha I had a pretty bland day, managed a few good runs but it is pretty hard to play out in the cold. Aaron rocks, I'm also excited that casey has a nice pixie set.

ok Eugene, I'm coming through again. I promise this time I'll make sure to connect with y'all for a session or two. Aaron already contacted me, so a session is on for next Tuesday, I just need to know where it's at and I'll be there.

hey man, im curious as to what type of camera you used to record these tapes, only for the fact that none of them are working for me, they seem all choppy and have no audio, and i cant figure out why, maybe they got messed up in the mail? I REALLY REALLY hope not because that would truley suck.

I was reading on another forum that mail services in the winter can ruin tapes because of electronic sensors they have on it, but i also read that play back can look messed up until they adjust to temperature changes.

I sure hope thats the case, and that they will work fine within the next couple of hours when they warm up, but i have my doubts :?

EDIT: STill doesnt work, so im still figuring out what to do with them/how to get the footage.

Uhm... fuck?

I have no idea. Hopefully the warmth of a winter's fire can save us!

Anyway, we had a fun session today at the University, we had to pay to get inside but it's all good.

Riley came out and so did Casey, James, and two newer shredders named Toby and Tyler. Everyone is or various skill level but I think everyone hit something new today. I managed rather long toe run with lots of good links ending in Merlin, so that was cool. Casey hit Parkwalk and dlo today so that was even more exciting. I can't wait to see what he starts hitting in a couple months. Anyway, I'm off to bed, so Ho Ho Ho, have a merry Christmas footbag freaks.

EUGENE - OZ FITNESS SESSION WAS AWESOME!

Post by Hulk »

What up everyone! This is Casey, the guy that was wearing the white Oregon Track & Field t-shirt. Just wanted to say the turnout at Oz was pretty badass, and it was definately an awesome change of pace compared to our usual crew of about 5 people here in Eugene. The group hack was tight!
He is a transformer........Now can I get a double bicep shot for duh lady right he-yuh? Calm on, CALM ON! DO IT! DO IT NOW!!! - Casey Smith

Nice job on butterfly > butterfly casey, that's sick. The jam was fun, really successful, too bad some people couldn't make it.

Thanks again, Aaron for organizing the sessions these last few weeks, not to mention recruiting new folks to kick with. I'm outta here for now, but I'm sure I'll be back eventually. Perhaps we'll kick over spring break, or maybe I can convince y'all to come up for the Montana Freestyle Jam. Whatever it ends up being, I'll keep practicing. see ya next time!

Uh...hey. Just thought I'd post and say that James's run yesterday was awesome!!! It's pretty cool that Toby and Tylar showed up. It was fun to play with the ping pong people around us and stick-stab people (wtf are they called with the masks and stuff is it fencing?) Thanks Aaron for finding a place for us to play! :) Yay I can't wait until it stops raining here in Eugene.

Good job on busting big Shawni! Today's session was slow unfortunately, I'm sick and Eddie was really late so the session kinda dwindled down but never came up. Atleast I hit another new one for the day, barraging ss muted legover, yay.

Damn...I keep forgetting my password so it's always a pain to sign in here. Almost as much as a pain as leg-overs *stomach lurches* Where is that blog that talks about the jam in SD next month? I wanted to post. Oh! We finally brought the highly recommended footbag dosage to Casey last night and it was AWESOME! It was cold at first but after we spread out those mats and started shredding it was epic. Aaron hit some pretty big new stuff and I'm sure we'll see more of what he hit last night in more of our sessions.

We had a session wednesday night at LCC. I'm really upset to say that only one person showed up besides myself and shawnell. Come on guys, we're a club and this whole winter has been a bunch of single circle sessions.

Sessions are, and will remain:

Wed nights at 5:30 (Area may begin to be LCC every session)

Sat afternoon at 3:00 (Oz fitness until warm enough to shred outside)

We NEED people to begin showing up, please call me if you can't make it, don't make me continue calling YOU! Last session was epic, we had a mini competition, everyone hit new stuff, and it was a new environment with a crowd. Once again, please show up or give me a call stating otherwise.

New stuff from sessions:
Barroque
Blurriest > Barroque
Pixie Down Double > Barroque
ducking clip > sp whirl > rpt
fairy ss barroque off of foot
