less than 55g but i think its gonna be a pancake bag when it will be totally broke in.

Nice bags, Julien. I haven't seen your craft in awhile.

Btw, the hex color for the first bag isn't Petit Pois. I think it's Green Grape or Willow.

edit: Oh yeah, Ben, the amount of panels used for that bag are for a 12/8 Blur. This is just a little variation with it. Julien, i think you can devise a hot pattern with that if you tweak around with the pent colors a little bit. *wink, wink*

I'm going to try out a bigger template of mine some time.
Lots of people make ridiculously small bags, and I don't dig it. I have some bags that are just simply not playable. Most people have a regular and a mini template. I think that I will eventually have a regular, and a maxi. Regular is golfball or a touch bigger, and maxi is significantly bigger (kinda comes the size that the regular eventually stretches out to.) I've only ever done one, and it's not worked in, but it feels so great. Maybe Lon will like them????

here's a new 12 pannel i made out of leather, i think buckskin or some other soft leather. i filled it with poly completely full to streatch it out.

Happy New Years modified! Here's a New Years bag that I finished at the stroke of midnight last night! Picture taken just a few minutes ago.

This pic was soooooo hard to take! Front flapper stall! Huzzah!

Flash Red, Black Noir, Petit Pois, Country Cream. Extremely tight gather. 55.5 grams steel mix.

Ok, So, after some trades and giving some bags away for trial, I have changed some features of my bags based on suggestion.

1, Changed filler to zinc steel shot, makes bag much more stallable/ less filler required for weight.
2, Perfected my 3 stitch style and gather making bag more mushy
3, Changed thread to nylon kite string to eliminate breakage

This one is going out to Trix, its a prototype of everything I have changed.

K, so here are the bags I worked on in CO. My camera seems to be distorting the colors, but whatev.

I finally got a good style going, although some of the bags seem to be a little uneven (I think it's just the stitching, I bet it'll even out when they break in)

First two I'm selling to friends, last one is a gift to my friend who's going back to India for college, and the second one I'm going to try to sell to one of my friends. The last three look and feel kickass in person. Oh yeah and look what I found lol (didn't make):

I saw it at Jewel, it's probably really rolly, but it was only a dollar and I thought it was funny. Sorry for such a big post.

Grant, I really like how that first 32 that you posted looks. Super clean stitching.

Here's mine. Finished it a few minutes ago:

Used a new template; pent > hex ratio, small bleedholes. Spanish Gold and Verde (Ultrasuede Soft). 62.3 grams of steel shot mix. Extra super tight stitching. And yes, the pentagons are puffing out.

I can't wait to break her in!

PS: Her name is "Marigold." The name was inspired by the poem "Clouds" by Denise Levertov.
