Footbag Cruise?

Post by professor »

How awesome would it be to plan a cruise that a bunch of footbaggers go on? Frikken awesome, that's how awesome. Maybe have a competition or jam, or just hang out. It doesn't cost too too much. You can go on a week long cruise for < $500. Cruises are THE BEST and they don't shake enough to mess with your balance.

Just a thought.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

If we did it during march break and kept the budget under 500, as you said, I'd be down. Footbag sea voyage?? Eff YESS!!

That is an incredible idea, Ben. Wow.

What if a bunch of people took a cruise to Worlds or something one year.

Holy shit why didn't anybody think of this before?

as are all inclusives. i'd rather just pick a nice cheap outta the way foreign country and back-pack it. you could back pack it for about a month vs. cruise for a week on $500.

Camping with footbaggers is pretty stellar, and cheap for those of us who are chronically broke.

The cruise sounds like a super idea to me.
I didn't check Emily's links, but I assume they say that it costs significantly more to go on a cruise of that length? Maybe you have some special information?

Something else that would be cool would be, like, a SUMMER CAMP. Like... a jam at Freedom Shredquarters... for a month??? 2 Months??

It actually talked about the disgusting pollution that cruise ships produce.

i know everyone already knows this, but the cruise ships will continue to run regardless of whether or not there are footbaggers on board. yeah, i know you're still supporting it or whatever, but what the fuck.

yeah pete. What the fuck, it's an atrocity when other people do it, but since we're playing footbag it's ok. There's so few of us and since we're doing something that we think is cool and worthwhile, we're totally absolved of the guilt that every other individual on that cruise must bear.
