How much would it cost to install an iPod Jack?

I just got a new Honda Fit basic trim, which doesn't come with an auxiliary jack. It does however have everything else a car needs to be auxiliary ready because the sports model has the jack. Does anyone know how much it would cost to have the jack installed?

109 horsepower and you are thinking about the sounds? You need an auxiliary engine. Btw you dont usually have a jack installed, if you got the cheap stereo you replace it with a kenwood, pioneer etc...

you can buy a nice cd player with an aux input for around 90$. check best buy, circuit city, electronic express, you get the picture

Surprisingly, Best Buy doesn't really have anything but the iTrip and other such subpar products. I will check those other places.

As to my stereo, it's actually a good system, I just can't plug my iPod into it. And I don't care about the horsepower, the car goes fast enough to get me where I'm going without having to borrow my mom's. If I want a car with horsepower, my dad's has 300.

best buy sells car stereos. thats what i was talking about, not the silly fm transmitters. if you use an fm transmitter, it will sound like a radio...

...also, ebay and froogle have some options. all that you're looking for is a car stereo with an auxillary input. buying stuff online is always risky though, not because it might not get to you, but because it might not be compatable with your car or because stereos are hard to install yourself.

what i did was i went to circuit city. they had two stereos i liked, a pioneer for $79 and a pioneer for $99. they had a special where if you spent so much money on a stereo, then they would install it for free (a year ago). i think now-a-days they install stereos you buy from them for free anyway.

before i went to circuit city, i bought a stereo off ebay. when i got it, it looked fine and all, but i couldnt find the wiring harness anywhere (its a lancer). i eventually found one, but it was difficult for me to figure out how to hook it up. so i gave up, sent it back for my money, and just went and had someone else do it for me.

i hope you have some luck. you can even buy these car stereos at walmart. theyre all over the place.

I'll try bestbuy again. They closed all of the Circuit Cities near me.
