New American Gladiator

Post by crazylegs32 »

Well since the writers are on strike NBC is putting american gladiators on prime time. I think its hilarious, they should make the retards from all the reality shows face the gladiators IMO. Tila Tequilla VS. New York :)

I saw it today and its pretty gay. Its an exact copy of the original except they added water to fall into. The only gladiator with boobs is a guy unless you count padded bra's.

I like seeing people get absolutely destroyed by the gladiators. It's what American TV should be all about.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I suspect that it's scripted, more or less a new "WWF".

Pathetically non-entertaining.

I will say that one guy who missed his chance to be on the show years ago because of traffic was hilarious. He just came out swinging and "givin' them the business" and even jumped the whistle. What a great guy.

We should have a steroids topic. I'd like to see completely roided out people competing for ridiculous world records then keel over. haha

I love Hulk Hogan - He can turn that "Hey brother!" on and off like a water faucet. Looks like he is now the new Mean Jean of American Gladiators.

The Gladiators however are pathetic. That guy Wolf isn't as big as some of the competitors. lol And honestly the ONLY difference between this and the past show is the water they fall into. Other than that, same NICKELODEON show, almost as exciting as Double Dare.
Go out and shred already.

We watched the first episode and it was pretty entertaining just because it was so cheesy. That tiny woman that ended up winning the Eliminator cuz her competitor gassed out was fun to watch. She did jack-shit during all the previous challenges and got lucky in the end.

I was really disappointed at the performance of that she-tank gladiator (I keep forgetting her name). She was extremely ineffective as the last obstacle in the Gauntlet. Plenty of mass on her but she didn't seem to know how to use it.

I can't see myself rushing home to see any more episodes unless all the guys are watching with me.
