Serious 4 square isnt fun

I felt there was an odd tension during all calls made yesterday. Anyone else get that, or was it just me?

I don't think 4-square should be serious at all

Messing around and just having a good time is what it's all about imho

There's a little bit of guilt in me because of how squares has evolved (in Chicago) into the opposite of what Joe and Lon had meant the game to be. Just a little.Teeny tiny. Itty bitty. Games are tense and competitive but for the most part we do have fun playing that way and there's ALWAYS more than enough nonsense to go around. I mean, we are CIC afterall.

The 4S games we played on the second night in the shred room were absolutely awesome! The talent was deep, rounds were hard fought, laughs were plentiful, voting remained civil, the digs were unbelievable and the kills were insane!

highlights
-Age steps into the 1sq with Steve, Sebastien and myself filling out the rest of the court. The look on her face was priceless!
-Underestimating Flash's skill
-co-op moves with Sebastien and Kolo
-Team Dance Party and it's many failed attempts to control all 4 squares.
-Danny Petrick laughing so hard, he couldn't even stand upright inline let alone defend his square once he got in.
-Age scoring kills on Steve and Sebastien.
-Flashing my foot within inches of Julien's face with my Zeke Heil. As tall as he is, he's probably not used to seeing the bottom of a size 8 shoe that close to his face.
-Flying outside kick that lobbed right over flash for a kill.
-Countless digs from Seb that were just incredible to see followed up by calm, perfect execution of a well placed kill shot.
