Broken Toe
Broken Toe
Long story short, a taxi ran over my foot on NYE and I'm nearly positive my middle toe is broken. Do you just tape it to another toe until it gets better? Damn it.
Uh, I'm reading about it now. RICE, uh I'd probably see a doctor (especially because it seems a little severe, being ran over by a taxi, and there may be problems that go unnoticed), and ibuprofen. And when I break a toe, I usually tape it to the two toes next to it, but I don't really know if you're supposed to or not.

I just broke one of mine today.
Damn it.
Its also purple and hurtin' and now taped to its buddy.
Feel better soon.

Uhhh... I don't know if I broke my toe, but the knuckle connecting my big toe to my left foot has been killing me (it's the area above the ball of your foot, on the side) for the past two weeks. I think it was from landing on the ball of my foot too hard that gave me this infliction, or probably from the fact that I shred in women's G-units (the sole is a tad bit more slender). Whatever the case, it hurts for me to raise my big toe without feeling pain, and it makes walking difficult.
So far, I have my foot bandaged and bound around this area with adhesive tape before I put my shoes on, and that pretty much relieves most if not all of the pain. Is this a bunyan (sp?) or did fluid happen to enter the the joint of my big toe? What steps should I take to recover from this?
I can't say for sure that this is an injury that is preventing me from playing. It's just uncomfortable.
