messed around with basics a lot more.

other then that, a little drill : fairy ss osis>merkon>rpt
near dbl switch
flip barfly once
flip paradon (downtime=new) can hit this within few attempts now

I've been practicing dexes around a club at home

Speaking of clubs, i bought a set of 3 clubs and started learning how to juggle, it's quite hard for now. Also got a set of 3 cigar box, so much fun :D

even tough I'm progressing on some stuff, I feel like I reached my peek.

It feels really bad, I try so many things to get that little something that can bring me somewhere in footbag, and there's nothing to do.

Stepping sets is killing me, can't hardly do it on strong side and barely flipside. It's so stupid.

I've been playing by myself mostly for the past month, and work so much on stuff like this and nothing happens, nothing helps, nothing works.

I'm starting to feel so much frustration when I drill those concepts.

Today at least I got part of my game back, I've been sucking for the past 2 weeks. Had some 10+ contacts toe shuffles in runs.
smoke>vortex
osis>vortex>rpt
osis>mobius both sides
vortex>drifter>vortex>run
more flip downtime paradons.

After the sess, and a lot of struggling on stepping sets, and lots of frustration, I went outside to continue on my quest of 3 clubs juggling.
2 clubs: I can switch hands pretty well.
3 clubs, most I got is 3 contacts and ran after 4th.
1 club, 2 balls: about 16-20 contact at most
2 clubs, 1 ball, 8-10'ish contacts

Juggling clubs is fun and is saving my mood right now, since nobody in montreal comes to the sessions these days..

**
second sess of the day:
barfly bsos
a run with pdx dlo and pdx whirl bsos
bubbabeater and pdx egg in one run
motion sickness midstring
footed spin osis>motion>reaper

I tend to have 1 hour sess before work every day.. still not in the mood for actual shred, so more like messing around with tricks..

toe torque both sides is really easy now
footed flip porque
close to barfly>barfly .. flipside is still really inconsistent.

a deep flip barfly, most are thin.

footed flip far motion twice.

some flip dyno improvement as well.

I suggest that you post a video of yourself trying stepping sets so that people can give you feedback, or so that you can review your own movements and figure out how to improve.

Actually, I feel like stepping is really one of the easier things to improve at in the freestyle game. There really is not much complexity to it.

Questions:
Can you hit stepping ss clipper x3 on either side or both sides?
Can you link 5 ripwalks?
If yes to both of these questions, push your ripwalk record every session for 5 minutes. At the end of each session you should be able to say that you either increased it or got within 5 of your record. This will really improve your stamina.

Back when I was approaching 40-ish consec ripwalks, I would give it 5 attempts to see if I could improve. That was enough.

When I could only link 10 ripwalks, I would try about 50 times per session. As long as it doesn't hurt, try it a lot and really find a way to step up the intensity of that portion of your session. I mean, you should be dripping sweat, so focused, desire to large you won't be satisfied until you break the record, and even then, what you hit should not satisfy you. You want more, more!!!!!!

my game is not doing so good these days, and it showed at NYJ.

Good thing is I got some good advices on some stuff I really want to improve, and realised one thing that hurts a lot of flip clipper tricks.

got new consecutive records: ripwalk x4, ducking clipx60

not many highlights from this tournament:
gyro dlo>smoke (hit this couple of times)
pixie ducking legover>assassin>repeat
ripwalk>vortex bsos

It's always good to see you again. I'm glad we got a chance to hang out more this past NYJ. Too bad your crazy friend was unable to come. Thanks to the both of you for the gift. It's made for some very hilarious pics & vids. People might think twice before asking to stay at LaRAZA!!!!

So I will try to work on steps 20 mins per session for a while.
Today it wasnt so bad, a lot of ripwalks and sidewalks bs
ripwalk and step ss clip bsos in a run
Steps are not really hard, but I've never been good at them and need to fix this.

otherwise hit a cool combo: pixie whirl>drifter>dlo>smoke .. tought it looked hot

ripwalk>blur both sides
almost ripwalk>sidewalk>rpt

legbeater>sidewalk
gybas
void within 3 tries (havent tried to hit this in so long)
flip mobius first try, strong took like 20 .. always off the foot tought, just need to get back into it
flip step progression, overall game regression

I feel more sloppy then ever, guess that's because I've been working on stuff I suck at and left everything else away for a while..

hmm
So I try to improve steps, meanwhile I'm loosing all my getting bad at all the other stuff.
Everything is sloppy
Many tricks are not constant anymore
there are some ocncepts I can't do anymore, if not, can only do them rarely. Zoom's are so bad it's terrible.

A sad solo shred sess on my 26th bday.

I hate winter now, I want for summer to come back so I can ride my bike way more and get in top shape again. Also get the chance to play a lot more and find motivation again

I'm tired of solo sessions between 4 walls with slippery floor. Nobody to play with.
