Training session. Didn't do awesome, but didn't do horrible. Hit some good drills.

ripwalk x3 > sidewalk x3 > rpt
gyro mir > paradon > sidewalk > rpt
DDD x5 (strong) DDD x3 (weak)
barfly x8
magellan x3 > pixie leg x3 > rpt
barrage > paradon > barrage > whirl - bsos
pdx mir > toe blur x2 > butter > rpt
pdx mir > fear x2 > fairy butter > rpt

I still suck at blenders and torques.

memorizer
Perfect. I've been trying to think of a good name for this one since last year. Though I think I have some other variations of lottery combo/combo generator I'd like to try. The first bit of memorizer got a bit boring, though it could work with some tweaks. That's the first one we've ever done.

1 hour training session.

sidewalk x12 (flip)
sidewalk x13 (strong)
blur > legbeater > sidewalk > ripwalk > rpt > step mir > legbeater > rpt
pdx mir > phoenix > rpt x5
pdx illusion > atom smasher > atom smasher > butter > rpt > pdx mir > atom smasher > atom smasher > butter > rpt
blur > pixie whirl > rpt > run (not amazing, but it was first try so I was happy)
eggbeater x9 (strong)
eggbeater x7 (weak) - much harder than it sounds
pdx dlo > dimwalk > rpt x4

I'm pretty sure the final circle video of circle comp at NYJ is going to be released next week. I should be on there. Right now I'm working on something else footbag related, so no time for a video.

I've hit spanishfly a few times. I've hit leviathan more though.

Played with Evan today. I didn't do great, but not horrible. I could only play an hour. 4 days straight of footbag and little sleep hurts. :D

2 hour training session yesterday. Didn't do well. I think it's because I only got 4 hours of sleep the previous night. I really think sleep is the biggest factor on how well I play. More sleep = more focus.

Only thing I was really happy with was sidewalk x5 > ripwalk x5 > rpt (first try) > at least 10 more contact run.

Flip pixie sucked for some reason.

2 hour training session. Hadn't played in almost a week because I had a stomach virus. I did better than I expected.

fairy ss mir > tap > quant ss mir > rpt (first try, easy)
fear x 6 (flip) x7 (strong)
good pixie runs
pixie symp whirl bsos, perfect
drifter > vortex > rpt
barfly > scorpion's tail > rpt
pdx whirl > spinning whirl > rpt x4 (twice through)
DDD x7 (flip)
good run with almost all dd moves
sidewalk x5 > ripwalk x5 > rpt

Recently I've felt weird when I've played. Like I don't have to try hard to do certain stuff. I just do it. I guess it's a good thing, but I don't feel like I'm in as much control, even though I don't drop as much. Like, I should drop as much, but I don't. I'm sure that's really confusing, but it's hard to describe.

Thanks Kevin!

1 hour shred session.

All this training seems to be doing the trick...

sidewalk x5 > ripwalk x5 > rpt > sidewalk x5 (flip)
toe blur > quant ss mir > rpt (4 or 5 times, couldn't repeat it twice though)
stepping mir > fairy ss mir > fairy ss mir > fairy ss butter > rpt
barfly x(at least 8 )
Multiple long, varied runs.

Working on: flail > symp whirl > ps mir > rpt

You're like the next Andrew Grant!

Crazy drills, especially the one you said you're working on. :P

Thanks guys.

2 hour early shred session with Evan. Did ok, I guess.

Only things worth mentioning are:
sidewalk x5 > ripwalk x5 > rpt > sidewalk x5 > ripwalk > hand catch (first try; 1 more than yesterday is good, I guess)
flail > symp whirl > ps mir > rpt (first, maybe 2nd try; wasn't as controlled as I want, but it wasn't too ugly.)
fairy ss mir > tap > slap > rpt (to show Evan)

I have real trouble with the hip rotation in pdx and pdx-like tricks. I have to try sooo hard. Evan's completely opposite.

Working on: toe ss drifter > pdx drifter > pdx dlo > rpt

Oh and by the way, Evan hit some amazing things which will go unmentioned. I literally couldn't play for a couple of minutes after one of his runs because I couldn't believe it. 8O

2.5 hour training session. Did well, very well. Worked on breathing more.

toe ss drifter > pdx drifter > pdx dlo > rpt
pdx dlo > dimwalk > rpt (9 contacts)
pdx drifter x4 (flip) x6 (strong)
janiwalker bsos (in at least 4 runs, 3 janiwalkers in 1 run)
fury (couldn't hit it flip)
barfly x9
eggbeater x9 (flip & strong)
smear > fear > atom > toe blur (first try regular, 3rd try flip, also bsos'd it)
fairy whirl bsos
rubberman
flail > symp whirl > ps mirage > rpt (2nd and 3rd try)
slap > toe blur > rpt (can do it almost on command, but still can't do it twice in a row)
barfly > ripwalk > pdx whirl > rpt (12 contacts)
pdx whirl > ripwalk > ripwalk > rpt (21 contacts)
sidewalk x5 > ripwalk x5 > rpt (39 contacts)

Working on: illusion tricks, they basically suck

I felt really relaxed and confident this session. Everything I hit felt good and solid. Hopefully this continues.

2 hour shred session with Evan today, well yesterday officially. (12:30am here)

Played at our school on an outdoor amphitheater where the majority of people walk by. Lots of stares. We asked people to join but they always say they're not good enough. Such a horrible attitude. At least there was this one guy that rode up on his long board hopped off and joined our circle.

Evan and I were busting pretty well. Not so much huge tricks but we were having fun hitting long solid runs with unique stuff in them.

Footbag was pretty fun today.
