The weekend of April 5th and 6th, there is a net tournament in Memphis, Tenessee. I suggest that you look into plane tickets soon and if you can find one for less than 150 or 200, you should definitely go. It will change your perspective on net and the local people there are very cool to hang out with.

If at all possible, Power kick with Reile 10 minutes each day. Have him toss you bags to your weak kicks and just practice kicking it right back to him. Vice versa.
Have him toss you spikes or toss your own (spikes, not salad) outside. Dynamic stretching (actually attempting to high kick or increase flex by using kicking motions) is better than passive stretching (sitting down lengthening the muscles)
Call Cory Current and Scot Hansen and see if they will commit to powering/kicking singles with you once weekly, or once every other week, once monthly even.

Reile's taking time off to heal up. I do like the idea of dynamic stretching, though. I should get a hold of Scott and Cory. If for nothing else than to be more involved with a possible Net Tour stop in Chicago in Mid June. I'm excited about this. In fact I have just decided that if this events goes down, and they have Intermediates, I'm going to win it.

I can respect that most people play squares just for fun and probably have little to no reason to read the 4-square sub-forum. Most of my posts there are geared towards more serious players. I think it can still help the hand full of kickers that want to suck less at the game. Or players that want to play me to win prizes at future jams and events. Just a thought

March is a few weeks away. The weather has been nuts lately. I can't wait for it to be warm enough to kick outside. Hopefully that's not too long. Been playing a lot of video games to pass the time while I'm at home. Shooters mostly. GoW, R6V, CoD2. I've hung out with Ronnie a few times to play because, like me, he likes to play more co-op than vs. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication between us though. Not quite sure if that's more my fault or his. Maybe both. Anyway, he will not show up 2 of the 3 times I try to set things up.
Can't wait for my first ride of the year. Hope my bike will be in good shape by the time that happens. It was outside and covered through some bad weather before I took it to my parents house for winter storage.
Linda from work said she found a condo in the west loop. 2 bedrooms 2 baths. She offered her place for 500 to 600 a month if she could not find a roommate and if I was looking for another place to stay. Not too keen about living near downtown, though. Don't know about living with Linda either. She has a bossy quality about her that is sure to lead to conflict.
I've been playing net a lot in my dreams lately. It wakes me up when my legs twitch as I play. Oh yeah, I should get a new mattress for my marble slab of a bed. I need to set up some kind of routine to stay active while I'm home over the winter otherwise I'll just eat and play video games all the time and gain weight. My appetite has been really weird lately. Not sure how to describe it so I don't think I'll try to. I have not drawn anything in forever.
