heh, thats the second person to say i look like someone in that pic...

so, dont worry about 4 adds. you'll learn faster if you drill the basics.

I'm really not worrying about them, I'm glad with this new outlook on footbag (stick to basics), I think my game will be that much better when i do step it up.

so you're getting gunits and your mom's getting you lavers? You krazy son! Next you need a carrying case designed for footbag/shoes and a holster that easily dispenses footbags that you can attach to a belt or a sling.

and you'll have a custom tshirt as well!

PS: I did your pimpy DLO today and almost got it flipside. It's pretty smooth.

Dude I just bought that exact same pair too, red and all! Old ones were green. I ordered a half size larger than my old pair, that should make it easier to stall, because the shoe won't be as...inflated by my socks. I have some advanced modding ideas with stuff that bothers me from my old pair. I'm gonna practice them on my old units then apply them to the new pair. :) Tutorial will come. Definately take care modding these because the underlying cloth is way more fragile than the stuff on lavers. Tape has been holding my current pair together for like 8 months now.

Heres a stupid year-old video a guy made featuring me modding that pair as we drove to play with Risdin. I kinda like the slowmo at the end tho heh

If the shoes arn't small you probably dont need to do the tongue part

Anyways, heres an idea:

legover>ss pickup>ss mirage>illusion>ss legover>pickup>mirage>ss illusion>pixie rpt

From your video thread I hit the (legover>ss legover rpt>mirage> ss mirage rpt>pickup> ss pickup rpt) drill. Just gotta add that last illusion part, which is my weakness. Tiltless is coming along. You can do it!

Nah, I doubt they'll be too small. If anything too big. The general advise was to order a size less than what you wear for lavers and thats what I tried. They suited me well for this long, but now they feel small for some reason.

Be sure to watch Blitz's tutorial on flipsider too. Its definitely better than mine. He does things a bit differently, like not cutting off the whole toe. The problem with cutting off the whole toe is that a ridge on the edge is formed, and it catches the bag sometimes. Its only a problem when doing kicks, but I'm going to try filing it down here in a minute. (edit: ridge is now gone. why didn't I think of this earlier) I would recommend cutting off the whole toe. Also, I didn't cut off enough of the leather on the clipper side, go further back as blitz does.

i know what you mean by the ridge on the toe. my quantums do that too me all the time. i really dislike the quantum to and im hoping the unit one is better.

i'll check out blitz's tutorial and keep what you said in mind.

yeah you did it the way Pete Bowler does it. I tried his pair and found the same thing to be true. But cool tutorial.

oh yeah. This is Ben's blog. Um. CHALLENGE!

work some illusion into your life. Illusionarianism. New word. Make a note.

I'm coming home for a weekend not this one (today), but the next. Pretty sure. You wanna play some hack maybe?

 I wanted to do super shipping. But was too hesitant to do it and then found out it wouldn't be that expensive. . arg. Oh well you'll be gangster a little sooner than me.

. . . yeah - the green ones looked sweet in the tutorial to me too. Glad I got them

So, im sitting here at my dads house.

fucking bored.

watching shred vids.

pretty much torturing myself with them though because it only makes me want to shred more.

this is what i will say to daddy today:

"You think forcing me to come here every weekend makes me love you more? Well you sure as hell better think again because it only makes me hate you more. Have you ever thought about letting me come to you? Maybe then i would love you."

fucking bastard.
