so i saw someone at worlds (andrew something?)wearing these, and i have had a pair. i find the inside surface amazing, and the toe is incredible as well. anyone else have experinece/comments on these? im getting a pair soon. you can custom design with any colors you want here. [/url]

yeah I saw these not too long ago and thought they had potential, but wasn't sure how well the toe box would mod. It's sweet they work well, though. They're pretty stylish.

basically, removing one layer of material in a circle on the toe makes them PERFECT. but the guy i saw at worlds hadnt even done that, so possibly no mods necesary, tho i will definitley do it when i get mine, perhaps brocka if needed.

I have a pair, although I think I screwed up and ordered mine in one size too large. I've had them for a year now, and I only use them for jogging.

Cranking in these shoes feel amazing. I don't think a Brocka mod is necessary. The inside is sort of weird. The design of the outer sole focuses a lot on the heel and the ball of your foot, where it slopes out, in, and out again. Like, the part where you would mainly clipper is the portion of the sole that slopes in a bit, making bags feasible for rolling off. Clippering anywhere else would just mess up your sets imo.

The toe is alright. I don't know if you would want to cut off the outer strip or anything.

I wouldn't try to run/footbag in without wearing any socks. The portion of the shoe that touches your ankle crank has some stitches that jut out, and they tend to rub on you. I've oftentimes find myself bleeding due to the constant rubbing and at the end of the day I would have to cauterize the open wound to avoid infection.

One thing to look out for is that the heel of these shoes has a thin layer of mesh. This area can easily wear and tear away. I have a couple of holes around this area, and it's pretty unsightly.

However, these shoes are unarguably comfortable. It's like I'm wearing a sock almost.

edit: There has been one person that I know that plays footbag in these kicks. bluntobj3ct/Sam McAulay . I wonder what he's up to?

as far as the inside goes, some stuff used with climas could be done similarly i think. also, i always play with no socks under my lavers, and theres lots of sharp stuff in mine. i have pretty tough skin. and im definitely gonnam od off a layer... i love as thin as possible. and they are sooooo lightweight. plus, theres like a million of them on ebay. and custom colors whatever you want is just too cool. ive done my best osis ever in free's, and i think the insiddei s spectacular. they were free trails, but i think the inisde on 5.0'slike these can be good. and ladies, check out the inside on these free's: link. that inside is like a bucket. it reminds me of matt cross' feet =) for a playerl ike me who has been partial to barefoot play, but went back to shoes for need of a clipper surface, i think these will be perfect.[/url]

I have a pair, and they're alright, but I like my quantums/lavers better.

The clipper needs a really good placement, almost barefoot like, for me. I hate the toe.

The kid across the hall in my freshman dorm had a pair of these in my size, so I would hack in the hall with them sometimes. I didn't love them. the toe was really small and round, and the inside was just too weird and flexy.

I remember John Mahoos used these at NYJ 07, you might want to PM Hood on this forum to see what he did to make them playable.

haha thats a funny picture. its werd, becasue like i said i had a pair of nike trails, and my osis was the best it ever was. butterflys as well.... and i thought the toe rocked too. maybe its just my preference. but like i said, someone named andrew (no last name) shredded pretty hard in them at worlds, and even in a video on here somewhere, ill try and find it.

Yeah, Climas are the best footbag/running shoe combination. I have mine unmodded and I play in them, but they're also good to run in. Mostly because they're running shoes.

Frees hurt my feet when I run in them.
