In my opinion, almost everything is shit as far as hip hop/rap goes.
At least listen to some of the best a genre has to offer (IMO The Roots are among those in hip hop, The Roots fuse hiphop with jazz)

A lot of music would not be the same with out rap/hip-hop and rap/hip-hop would not exist if it were not for Rock and Roll.

Don't call an entire genre trash from listening to a few artist. Learn to listen and appreciate music and not just throw out an entire genre as "shit" just because you didn't like the shit you hear on the radio or in this thread.
Yeah, that's why I threw in the "almost", because I realise not *everything* from those genre's are shit.

My point remains the same.

Immortal technique's lyrics suck. They have no musical merit.

And in the song he tells a lot of things including some advice, but he also tells that he has endless sorrow for his actions and is disgusted by his and his "crew's" actions. You need to listen better.
Yeah, I can't hear him properly because his voice is muffled by the sheer amount of cocks in his mouth.

I was happy to discover a thread devoted to Immortal Technique. He's definitely one of my top five favorite musicians. Even if you don't like hip-hop, there has to be something about his enlightened lyricism that appeals to most everyone. His battle raps are especially creative, even though they are a little shocking. Industrial Revolution is one of my favorite tracks. It's a classic.

You don't want beef with Immortal Technique, so don't pretend. He'll resurrect your aborted baby and kill it again.
