Hey, sorry I forgot your stickers. I did not put them in the envelope before I sent the disc. They are the same as the footbag on the disc. I had the vinyl cut out. Then you said you did not want your name all over it. So I have two 6 inch P2 footbags stickers and 4 peng2 left over. I will send them if you want.

. as mentioned above, the microsuede that makes up louis' 4 & 8-panel sand bags is softer than butter ... a little slippery on laver mesh though. does anyone use this material in 32-panel bags ... and how durable is it compared to facile when filled with metal??

i loooove this bag

... my favourite modified purchase/trade so far in regards to initial feel and playability. it is the smaller size i like, super supple and stally, yet highly responsive on top of it all. nice one roy

. the bag in the back is an old roy bag, an experiment he called his 'bridges' bag ... pretty funky and visual (nowhere near as lush as the 'colour bomb' though).

Microsuede is great for sand-filled bags, but I doubt it would work well with metal and lead, since the material can't withstand against the density of the fill.

Ive tried microsuede on 32 panels (way back in the day) and not only does it not break-in like facile, but will invariably become very holey in a short amount of time.

Waylon.....From what I can tell so far. This bag was worth the wait. I was so happy when I got it......I skip all the way back into my house doing toe stalls from side to side. I can't believe how soft it already is.... but not to floppy. Thanks again and good luck with everything you have going on right now.

It will break-in to be very floppy - this I can assure you. My New Year's bag was stitched the same way, and it is just gushy. Dedicate 1-2 sessions with basic kicks and it will reach that level.

That Snake bag is AWESOME. I may have to get one of those from Roy. I already have a neat one of his with facile bridges

That firetale one is neat too. Depending on how well it kicks that could be a really sweet bag for demos.

the FIRETAIL bag [pictured above] is 45mm [slightly larger than golf ball] and 35 grams ... i put a very small amount of steel in it to keep it loose and stally at that size and weight, whilst attempting to keep it highly durable for kicking.

answer: i find them great for performing, as the tail looks awesome on kicks as it follows the bag. tail does get in the way sometimes whilst dexing, although i try to minimise this disruption by making the tails out of 'cheesecloth', which is a very thin and light material.
i did decide that being a little heavier would improve its freestyle playability, so i've decided to up these to 40 grams in future. hope this helps answer your question

Got your bags Lotus.

The Hot Star smells like pistachio! What a winner! It really cheered me up today.

New Shred freestyler on the far left; broken in one on the far right. I really love the Random and Funk freestylers as well, but the Shred freestyler feels the best out of all three. Really dig the new shot filler you've used as well, Lotus.

I also made the keychain mini 32 in the middle this past Thursday. It was an old project that I started last year, but ended up finishing just recently. It's okay.

Lotus, I hope you get your bags soon!

edit: All Lotus' bags should smell like pistachio! I'm not kidding!

i actually got 2x 4's and 2x 8's ... but these two were my favourites

.
the size did vary a bit ... the red/grey 8 was golfball sized, and the all red 4 was a little smaller ... whilst the other two bags were both marginally larger than golf ball size.
i worked performing and selling bags at a 2-day music festival [ozomatli was the highlight for me

], and gave the other 8-panel a good work out with a bunch of dudes that preferred sand ... they and myself were extremely impressed with its playability. the mini size leads to a fuller bag [they are still 50 grams] with a little more responsiveness and a little more predictability in the air. still not as joyous as a pellet bag for me ... but closer than ever before ...

i told waylon exactly what i was after in a performance bag for my upcoming trip around australia, and not only did he go out of his way to source the stiffest white available for the spikes, but he also prioritised my job to get it to me in time ... and unlike many stitchers that i have custom ordered from, rather than go off on his own creative tangent, waylon followed my requested specs/needs to the letter and made every aspect of this bag PRECISELY to my request ...

i seriously wish i'd gotten two [or twenty] of this spiked bag, but i can't be too greedy with waylon's time. it'd be great to keep one as an illustration of stitching perfection ... the spikes are nicely long, highly visible, and keep their shape without drooping. i seriously pulled it out of the envelope that it'd been squashed into all the way from the US to australia, rubbed it between my thumb and fingers for less than one second, and BOING ... up they all popped like daisies in the morning sun ... but much quicker

waylon, i wish i could fly you to australia, tie you to the tallest tassie swamp gum, and have you sit under its shade and stitch bags for me FOREVER ...

I can totally imagine what each of those bags feels like, I bet they are so nice to fondle.

Maybe I should make a hack sometime, it's been a few months since I last stitched.

I have got a few great deals lately. So here are a few pics of the bags I scooped up.
The 1st three are Jake Raye Bags that I got way cheap!! They remind me alot of my Abshire minis. I hope they break in as nice as my choice Abshire bags(2 months later

).
