So I've been borrowing this game from my friend for a while. I think he gets back from the army around Christmas, so I've still got some time to hone my skills.

Right now I'm trying to beat Career mode on Expert, and I need 3 more songs: Institutionalized, Hangar 18, and Freebird.

I hate Institutionalized, Hangar 18 is hard, and once I beat those two, I'll probably be stuck on Freebird for a while.

Just now I got 123,9xx on Misirlou, my new high score; such a sweet song.

I also 4*'d Thunderhorse with 90K, also a sweet song, but I can't get one part down.

Oh yeah, I beat Less Talk More Rokk for the first time yesterday, which was super fun, and it proves that my HO/POs are my best GH skill.

Dude! I'm in the exact same situation. My friend let me borrow his GHII like 4 days ago and I've been playing it non-stop basically. I also am beating career mode on expert and I just so happen to have beat LTMR expert and I have no idea how. It gets soo fast my mind wants to explode.

Thunderhorse is by far my fav song to play. I finally passed it with 100% tapping all of chorus 3. Tapping is so fun/challenging.

Yeah, I lurk scorehero to see if HellAshes FC'd Jordan yet; he'll do it soon!

I tried to figure out tapping with Fall of Pangea's solo 2B, but I only got a few notes and got fed up. I know I will learn in the future though.

Speaking of Jordan, the few times I've tried it on Expert I've got 45% each time. Solo A just kills me.....

Ha, I played jorden today on slowest and still only got 77% but I figured out some parts and how they should actually be played. Then I tried to play it for real and I just wasn't feeling the easy ass first part so I gave up. I think I'm just going to try to FC some songs on hard.

Thunderhorse is by far my fav song to play

you ought to limewire the album "dethalbum" thunderhorse is on there, plus some other good stuff

the other day I got 4 stars on laid to rest on expert/hyper - anyone here gotten 5 stars on that on hyper?

i'm taking a break from guitar hero 2 actually. i couldn't beat hangar 18 on expert, so i got angry.

probably just gonna wait for the 3rd one and play non-stop again.

Props on the 5* LtR!

Man, I just wasn't feeling it today. I CANNOT beat psychobilly freakout. I hate it when your fingers won't return to the correct position and you strum like 10-15 notes incorrectly. What's the key to it? I may turn it back on and try it again.

i beat every song on that game in the hardest setting, and then i had to move back to school, such a fun game. The only song i ever really had trouble with was jordan, but i did beat it a few times.

I learned me a bit of tapping today:

Thunderhorse Verse 3 (Full Speed) many times
Fall of Pangea Solo 2B (Slow) a few times

It's fun.

Both at Full Speed, I did: Trills! seciton of Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight and Solo 2B of Bad Reputation.

Tapping is way hard to do in an actual song.

I got close to 140K on Misirlou again; I'll get you 4*!

One Hangar 18's many solos destroyed me (at 85% no less). This is gonna be really hard to beat; I may have to learn to tap the one solo and actually apply it in the song.

Got to Solo B in Jordan like usual, except I was actually doing well on the main riff.

I tried to learn to tap Solo D in Carry On My Wayword Son, but on Slow and Full Speed I couldn't keep up.

There had better be some GH at Cornell....
