1 hour training session. Recovery session really. No highlights. Just drilled all the 2's and bops. Plus worked on pdx stuff and illusion tricks.

1.5 hour shred session with Evan. We did ok. We were both pretty tired. I got yelled at for having Gatorade in a rec center....a rec center. What type of rec center doesn't allow Gatorade? A stupid one.

2.5 hour training session. Did ok. Stuff felt good, but my string length wasn't the best.
I'm tired of posting a bunch of highlights, so I'll post 1 or 2 of my pretty good highlights. I'll leave the other ones out. I don't want people to get the idea that I'm better than I really am.
Highlight(s):
pixie whirl > blurry whirl > ripwalk > pdx dlo > rpt
pdx drifter x4 (flip)
Working on:
Atomic sets. They basically suck and I work on them every session.

1.5 hour session. Did pretty well, but my lower legs started to hurt because of yesterday's whirls > stepping sets work and atomic work.
Highlight(s):
pdx drifter x4 (flip)
barrage > paradon > barfly > rpt > run
Working on:
Recovering my legs by tomorrow.

1 hour training session yesterday.
When I started kicking the bag, I could tell that it wasn't going to be a good day for footbag. After warmup and a couple runs the suck was confirmed. So, I brought the difficulty level way down and drilled bops and 2's. Mostly atw's. Then I did some one legged jump rope.
I think the suck was mainly due to my lower calf muscles (soleus?). They were really "sore". Which gave me no strength for the little hops and stepping and such. So I'm gonna rest for a day or two and start back on my training schedule. I don't really have a schedule, I just train every day I can.

I'm definitely no expert on anatomy, but I think the muscle that would get sore after jumping around and such is your gastrocnemus (bigger calf muscle). It's the one that pulls your toes down, I believe. I think the soleus is in your calf, and inverts your ankle. I'm not sure.
That may be completely wrong. I bet Andrew knows.

Ya, I know about the gastro, but this pain is directly behind/to the side of my shin bone. The soleus is under/behind the gastro, so that's why I think it's that one. But, like you said, I'm no anatomist.

Ok yeah, I think you're right. The soleus and the gastrocnemius (my favorite word, fyi) both plantarflex at the ankle, so yeah. Jumping would make them sore.
If you're curious, the tibialis posterior inverts your ankle.

So, I'm probably going to do that UStream thing this weekend. It was way cool watching Zeb shred and chatting with him and a bunch of other footbaggers. Zeb has a dope shred spot, minus the large bowflex in his way.
There are 2 things I'm worried about though. One is sweating all over my laptop.
And two is I don't want everyone to know how bad I actually am.
Oh well, I guess it's better for people to know how bad you are instead of thinking you're better than you are and get disappointed when they see you at tournaments. So, if you want to see what level of suck I'm on, join me this weekend (probably) for a shred session.
I'll probably play with Evan today. I haven't played in 2 days, it feels like forever. Hopefully my legs feel better.

1.5 hour shred session by myself.
Oh yes. This is what I've been waiting for. A good session. My legs were recouped and I was busting pretty well. Long runs.
Highlight(s):
stepping ss mirage > pixie drifter > rpt
pdx drifter x4 + footed (first try, flip)
6 > 6 > run (first try, never hit before)
Working on: Flip pixie is giving me a little trouble. It has a mind of it's own sometimes.

2 - 2.5 hour live video session.
I did ok. Nothing spectacular. I was happy that I hit a bunch of the things people asked me to hit. I was really disappointed in myself for not being able to hit 10 contacts of toe shuffle. I really need to work on that. That's disgraceful.
E-man was my shred buddy, we played horse in the beginning then just shredded. Zeb was my trainer. Thanks Zeb for all the challenges and for watching me suck.

2 days ago I got the cord to plug my camera into my laptop. So, I had a 30 - 45 min. test session with it. The image quality is ridiculous. It's like one of our videos, except live.
Hit a few of the challenges people gave me.
Hit a few the nemesis' in a row.
Hit a standard 6 > 6.
I'm thinking of doing the live thing once a week. It's really fun.

2 hour session. Felt good, but the beginning I wasn't doing well. Once I got all the kinks out, I was shredding well.
Highlight(s):
phoenix > blur > rpt (first try)
drifter > vortex > rpt
Been one-legged jump roping at every session. I think it's helping, but only time will tell.
