pellet packing?

ive heard multiple times that packing a bag full of plastic pellets initially to break it in works well, then replacing it with your conventional filler. does anyone have any persoanl experience with this method, or comments?

I fill myne with pellets and beak it in by hands, than replace it with my normal filler and close it.

I think, the bags are just breaking in more quick than with just kicking them!

it works but it may cause the bag to pill.

I recommend taking plastic wrap and wraping it around the footbag so it looks like a little tied up candy, then hand break in the bag and no pilling should occur.

Im still testing this saran wrap method out to see how ruff you can be with the bag when massaging it to see if any pilling occurs.

You can bust holes easily with this method. You can bust stitches and seams easily with this method. You can easily warp your pentagons on your 32s, making them puff out.

I don't recommend it unless you're extremely certain what you're doing.

oh, i do.

I've already tested 3 bags this way and they came out clean and perfect.

I don't recommend filling the bag completely full with poly pellets though.

I just made the about 60% full with some lead. Make the bag a little heavy too.

Right now I'm trying this method on a blue Hawaii pent/ Animal print hex bag and its doing just fine.

I fill them to 85% or more, and hand knead them pretty harsh. I like puffy pents, but I think a majority of players don't like this in terms of preference. And, well, this method is a good way to relieve stress when you're not playing, from what I heard in a few accounts from European players.

Dorschbags are prepared in this manner, and I felt them from Wiktor Debski's batch before Worlds last year. They felt seriously choice.

THATS HOW THE PENTS ARE SO POOFY! ive always wondered... and yes, i love poofy pents, so i am definitely doing this now. thanks guys, im gonna try it on a bag i made later tonight.

so, i did this with tow of the bags ive stitched today and..... its amazing. i love how it breaks in the bag. it evens almost everything out, and makes the bags pents all poofy like dorshbags, which i absolutely love how it looks. i reccomend doing this if you have pellets. it worked wonders on a bag of mine in like 25 minutes of hand massaging.

Hell, yes. I'm a big fan of this method and I pre break-in Dorshbags like that. But you have to take care because you can easily kill your bag if you do it too much...
