It's up to Zeb - Generally 5 ADDs make open and 4>4>4's make Open.

i think if its your first time entering, you shouldnt be placed in open. my sick 3 and unique 5 might be all 4s, but i defintely might not call myself "open" material.

deciding is usually pretty subjective.

if you hit an easy 4>4>4 chances are ill put you in novice, but if you hit a hard one ill put you in open.

Not all 5's make it to open, most do though.

Stop worrying so damn much about open vs. novice. It's just fun online hackeysack game.

Hit some cool stuff, get it on tape and submit it.

If you want real competition go to a tournament enter the competition there. You'll actually have a finite amount of tries (gasp!) to hit your move/combo. That's why the words "hitting it in competition" have so much value. It's a totally different ballpark. This is only for fun.

Count me in for all 3 categories BTW.

I WILL be doing this for the first time. Novie sick one and sick three.

:?: Question though, I shouldnt edit the clips at all? What if it takes me 20 tries to finally land my sick 3, should I just send the whole thing or edit it myself in window movie maker and then send just the move. Beccccause I just realized yesterday as I was trying to make a little video my camera films in .mov and thats one of the few extensions that wont work on WMM.

It's the same way with me. Usually the software that comes with the camera has some kind of very basic editing stuff, like to take out some clips and to add music and stuff.

Hey =)

I'm in for the first time, too and wanted to ask if it is necessary to be a forummember to take part in the competition?

So far I am the only registered user of modified.in of the guys I am shredding with, but some of them wanted to send their videos, too. Are they allowed to?

You don't have to be a member of the forum to partake of this. As long as one person is and that said person has a camera to send it to Zeb.

So yeah, I'll be in all three. Just need to figure out what I want to hit for each!
