I've used these as well. They were pretty hard to break in. My experiences weren't satisfactory.

I've used kickbags on a few occasions (never owned one, thankfully) and they're pieces of shit. They're not good for beginners. They don't break in and they are HARD to stall.
if you want a good, inexpensive beginner bag, do you yourself a favor and check out www.freedomfootbags.com and get a mr. sandman.
