It was sweet!

The half naked part, not the footbag. Footbag is gross. All sweaty and stinky....eww! 8)

so i realized why i havent had the want to play footbag lately, and its really getting me down.

I have no one to push my game at all, and i cant afford to drive to jims lately which really sucks, and its bringing my game down horribly.

havent played in 3 days again.

another problem is i cant kick to my potential in my apartment, because i live on the second story, and theres 2 feet of snow outside, and i cant afford to find a place to kick inside. I would kick in my laundrymat, but theres constantly people in there, and its kind of small.

i think what i need to do is get a good paying part-time job so i can afford to go to jims, and i need to do it asap for the sake of my footbag career.

>.<

peace,

Zeb

edit: **this is strictly my opinion**

This has been bugging me for a while but all the newer people to modified are really bugging me lately, i know i went through that phase too, but damn i mean common. Making a thread about how awesome your age group is? That doesnt help, (i mean it doesnt hurt) but i thought it was lame.

this is me being in a negative mood

hey man, i didnt say how awesome my age is... i was simply askig how many young players are out there, because ive only ever met like 2. and i dont consider myself "new". relatively, sure, but there are lots of people here worse than me. coughlegomancough. hope that job works out, i have a similar sitaution w/ my friend yogan... it costs lots of gas to get to his house.

Yo Zeb.

I found it kinda weird when I read about you not having the drive because of no influence. Every time I watch a video of the Stanford Crew, Eoghan, Kljopa, etc. I get extremely jealous. Do you still read blogs?

Maybe just find yourself some rivals. I'll be one if you want, although I'm not quite sure I'm good enough for you. :P

I agree on the age thing. Age really has no relevance in footbag, until you get in your upper 30s and shit.

Aarghhh you made me feel good  :D

I find the drive in music, when i listen to it i imagine how i could shred to it, what moves etc.It inspires me.

I could also be your rival :P

Start messing around with weird tricks when you're bored.

I wasn't motivated the other day and bored. So I picked up a footbag and tryied back delays, neck whips, tootsie rolls, ass delays, pinches, soles, walkovers, atw outsides and such. It was fun. You can still play hacky!

motivation will strike again.

challenge:
-get Zac to play footbag, maybe that will help :?

if there was room for me to kick when he did i would :? our apartment is kinda small, and really almost impossible to kick in because of our asshole neighbors i kick barefoot, well not really kicking but do like back to back clippers and pixie tricks all the time in the kitchen, and i also mess around with different delays when i dont have motiviation :)
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

Ive figured out the key to footbag (for me)

Dedication, and Focus.

as long as i remember this, footbag will be smoothe sailing...

(i played today, hit flip swirl for the first time, and hit 1 "okay" run that i was happy about because i havent stringed like that in a long time)

played tonight with Jim and Zac at garfield,

stepping is starting to feel better, its pretty warm out, hopefully ill kick outside tomorrow.

short highlights.

-pdx drifter bsos
-smoke>run
-drifter>whirl>rpt>pdx whirl b2b
-barfly>run
-Ps whirl>run
-back to probably 60% ish of normal, now that im playing everyday again, im not too worried about it.
-pdx blender and motion bs

shitty highlights, but there getting better again slowly, it will be nice to getting back to a point where im improving and not trying to get to where i was before the weather screwed me.

ill write another blog post tomorrow, hopefull the highlights will be even better.

im up to alteast 80% of normal again, i did stuff today that i thought i wouldnt hit again for a long while.

played for 3 1/2 hours, AND it was atleast 60 degrees outside all day. 8)

and I hit plo x 6 for you Zac Miley (3rd try)

im thinking im kinda going to go into training mode for mfj soon, so no more "mass amounts" highlights until then, ill still tell a few here and there, like this one for instance...

Flip blurry whirl>Pdx blender>ss butter>blurry whirl>pdx blender

and

(butter>clip set dlo>rpt) x 4

and

(ss butter>infinity>rpt) x 17
