FINALLY got to see and ride(a little) my DERVISH!

oh, and how sweet it is.

when i opened it and saw those glamorous pink retro big zigs...i was like...oh, YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

im currently living at a hotel for a few days and its snowing out so i cant ride outside. but i did ride through the halls a little bit ;) it was pretty sweet and although there was only 50 feet of concrete to ride on i could feel how much fun im going to have riding this. i was doing some pumping and it was amazing. ive never felt anything like it. im in love.

Sounds sick.

By the way I think I'm sick... I really want:

when it comes out! Good thing I don't have any money for a while and will have to think about buying it or not. I was trying some cross stepping today, dang it's hard! I'll get it within one or two more sessions though!

what's pumping? is it just going up and down on the board? or is it like regular pushing with your foot?

When you're pumping you've got both feet on the board and you whip your body back and forth real quick in a hula-hoop feel kinda and if you have your front trucks real loose and your back ones real tight and you have a little speed already it propels you forward. Depending on your board and your skill you can go very fast pumping. For example, I've got a real good board for pumping and as long as I'm not going on any sort of uphill incline or I'm not on something real steep, I can easily keep up with my friend who's pushing and wearing out his quads while I just pump my way along real easy.

I just ordered my third board. It's a Loaded Oak Vanguard, but only the deck and it was only 30 bucks! It's flex 5, so way too firm for me which is good cuz now I'm gonna get some Paris 180s, and some 86a orange BigZigs and learn to drift and maybe some slides like the coleman.

I'm learning to cross step and dance on my supercharger and in the future I think I might pick up a designated dancer since dancing is so fun. Something like a longboard larry OSD. Too bad they're super expensive.

I just bought a bamboo vanguard for my girlfriend for 150 complete with randall-II and some big zigs. sweet deal also, nice on that 30 bucks for the oak. i don't have a problem with stiff board. i got my girlfriend a $40 TLS board with some paris trucks and she decided she likes longboarding so much that she wanted to step it up a notch!

yay!

How'd you get a bamboo vanguard randals and big zigs for 150? the deck alone is usually 160.

Ugh, I ate shit soooo bad today. Road rash on my elbow, torn up gloves and jeans, sweatshirt so muddy it can't be washed out, and I slammed my quad hard enough I won't be walking right for 3-4 days.

Well I was hitting our local golf course which is by far the most intense place we skate, on one path specifically we easily hit 40 mph which is no place for loose trucks. This path has a sharp turn at the end so you have to get low and lean and hope your wheels don't drift. Cuz I'm such a hot shot I decided I'd just footbrake a bit before the turn but I was going way to fast and lost balance and slammed hard into the pavement before skidding about 10-12 feet through mud. I happened to have two golf balls in my right pocket because I had seen them earlier and thought, "Sick! Free golfballs!" and it just so happened I landed right on those golf balls.

Youch.

Anyway, I destroyed all the clothes I was wearing and am lucky that I'm not hurt worse than I am.

nollie popshuv to manual to bs shuv out.
switch 180 to manual to bs 180 out

blunt to 180 bank came down then backside flipped other side of ditch then a fs 360 ollie down other side of ditch.

ollied 10 stairs

on mini ramp i did rock to fakie > fakie half cab flip disaster revert in > fs 5-0 > bs 50-50 > blunt to fakie.

kickflip front boardslide fakie out swiss cheese ledge lol

I really like some of that stuff Wicked.
Do you have a video camera?

Does anybody know if there is a new "Toy Machine" video coming? And when?

If I ever get rich I gonna build a mini ramp in backyard and finally learn to skate.

Anybody know a recently released video that is worth checking out? The newest one I've seen is "Fully Flared" and "Nothing But The Truth".
