Finished Block Two schedule today. Funny how I could do Legover and Illusion fairly easily on my flipside, but I'm having trouble with my flip Out-In ATWs. Crazy weird....

So.... I guess I'll only be shredding when I feel like it. I feel I should focus more on my homework since failing a class now would mean I won't get to walk on graduation...Well, now that's out of the way, let's talk improvement.

Finally got Mirage BS fairly well. That goes for Legovers and Toe, Inside, and Outside stalls as well. Having trouble with getting Pickups, Illusions, and Clippers BS, but I think I've already improved a lot with those. Except Clipper stalls. I've got that huge bump (I think it's bone) on my right foot that's totally abnormal (compared it to my left foot--not pretty). I can't crank it as much as my left, so basically I have two different amounts of crank to get used to. That makes tricks involving clippers harder to get BS. I am hoping I get used to it though...I really do. But my right foot hurts sometimes when try to crank it. The bone bump gets in the way because it hits the the other bone thing that's supposed to be there.

Almost got that DATW on my flip. Haven't really focused on it that much though. Maybe after I can hit my 2s blindfolded...

I've got a senior project to do at school. Well, duh, I decided to do it on (what else?) my footbag practice. I will video tape my sessions and keep track of my progress.

I argued that the final video would be creative and if I could commit to something that's hard for a lot people to follow through and succeed, then it would show my determination and work habits.

Yeah, I feel bad about lying, but hey, easy A!

EDIT: had a session today

Other than that, it's the usual drills and stuff

Had a session after a long hiatus. meh...really mediocre, but I guess I need to be more motivated.

Summer is upon us and I'll need to come out of it strong. Gotta take advantage of the heat, because once winter comes again, I won't be kicking much....

Oh wait, you're still reading? Sorry, totally forgot.

Details:

I'm still not very consistent and my string lengths still suck. Maybe because I haven't done this in a while or maybe because I'm failing AP Calculus, or maybe I'm just stressed out with the Senior project and the Stock project for Economics....damn...senior year is kicking my *** right now.

Whoops too much of a tangent there...

Anyways, I almost hit flip Whirl, flip DATW, and I still crank my right ankle very much (it still hurts).

I noticed my kicks have improved though so that's good. I think.

Well, whatever, I've got a Calc final on thursday and the Senior project less than a month from now and I haven't started on Part 2 yet.

This sucks...overall.

Two days shy of two years later...I finally decided to get back into footbag.

Why?

I was down in Oceanside and who should I find but Richard Abshire himself.

I've always wanted to find footbaggers to kick with, and now I've found some. It's a 45 minute drive, but that's fine. I'm certain its worth it.

I also realized I need a new pair of Lavers after almost 4 years of wearing the same ones.

So how's everyone been doing?

Yes, I use smileys quite a lot.
