Barraging Atomic Flurry seems possible to someone who has those concepts on lock. The barraging atomic would be like an uptime flurry, then you could do a ss flurry afterward. I think it's possible. Another way you could describe it is like barraging tapping flurry. Any other suggestions?

Any other suggestions?
Furios tapping mofly
Furious atomic DOD Swirl
Sailing swirling same mofly
sailing swirling same flurry

Those and the ones you mentioned seems like the easiest but I am not sure any of them will be hit..

has sailing swirling been hit yet? I know atomic swirling but pixie atomic swirling?

those last two ones sound the most probable. interesting.

No i hear you Matt, talk about doing too many dexes, soo many, that all have to go at light speed. Just picturing all thoses tricks one after the other hurts

what about sailing muted bs clownface? Or whatever that downtime thing Vasek does with 4 dexes, like a whirring op symp egg. Sounds really hard to clean, but he did hit sailing muted flurry, this would be taking the legover and changing it into two dexes.

Or what about rifling ss flurry?

2+ years since this topic was started, and there still isn't video of anybody hitting a clean 5 dex (or even hitting and sealing a 5 dex). Not to be a dick or anything, but I think that if you can't hit any 4 dex tricks, you shouldn't even be posting in this thread. It takes a lot of understanding of footbag to get to the point where you can hit 4 dex tricks, and to even attempt a 5 plausibly is beyond most players' ability to really understand. Think about ATW, DATW, TATW. DATW is harder than ATW, but the jump in difficulty between DATW and TATW is way bigger than ATW to DATW. Adding extra dexes to tricks is similar.

I'm not saying that any six dex move will be hit by me in the next few years, I was just brainstorming over the easiest way to get six dexes. I think that the ones that I have listed seem realistically possible, but still hard to clean.

I have an even more ultimate question:

In how many years will a major footbag tournament be televised?

Perhaps we should rethink where we direct our energy.

I'm not convinced that any amount of energy is expanded on this topic that could be expanded elsewhere. I know I don't come to modified hoping to help make footbag the greatest sport ever. When I'm motivated to do serious work, I don't spend that time on internet forums.

I agree. Just because I contribute to worthless discussions on modified, doesn't mean I don't do other things to advance the sport, like throw tournaments, do talent shows, start clubs, etc.

I find it really annoying when people get preachy on modified about what a waste of time it is, or how it's bad for the sport. It's not like posting here precludes us from doing other things to advance the sport. It's also not always the case that posting here means we are not playing.

And as others have pointed out, not everybody who posts on modified shares the goal of making footbag big. I'm sure there are players who are more interested in theoretical questions about the human potential in footbag than they are about promoting footbag. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The forums are for fun not to start a revolution, but if it happens then...hooray! but I don't think people should be concerned that the topics arent serious. I dopnt think it reflects the sport in anyway at all.

Ftr I wasn't talking about modified. Discussing whatever on a forum is no big deal. I was talking about the idea that more dexes is not only better but encouraged. The idea that young players should be compensating their bodies trying to do the most dexes possible, when the average spectator can't decipher anything beyond 2 dexes.
