Hey, does anyone have Rock Band for PS2? Do you need a multitap for PS2, or did I somehow always miss that there are another 2 controller ports somewhere?

I don't have it, but the 360 version uses the USB ports. Maybe the PS2 version does too.

I just bought GHIII for the 360. Playing on live is fun. Anyone else play online?

I don't have III. I'm considering not buying it, cause I don't really like the game engine. I probably will eventually though.

In other news, two more people have FC'd Jordan 0_0

It's funny you say that because I really have no idea where you are coming from on that. I play GH2, GH3, FoF and GH3 pc. They are all the same to me, BASICALLY. 8) Only slight differences that really don't effect my playing anymore, nothing that would prevent me from buying one of them. Maybe I'm just used to all of them.

To each his own.

The timing window in III is huge compared to I or II; you can be really sloppy and still FC parts of songs. I actually think I might buy it tonight.....

I remember you saying the windows were bigger before. Personally, I try to hit the notes on time  Maybe that's why I don't notice it as much anymore.

Buy it and let's play on live Matt! I mean, I'm not that great but I still think it would be fun. If you don't have xbox live, I have about 100 48 hour xbox live trial codes.

Yes I have XBL

I bought GHIII yesterday, and the guitar was defective

Only the Green fret worked 100% of the time; all of the other ones didn't register most of the time.

I'm exchanging it today. I hope I don't get another lemon

Well, since I broke my guitar I've been playing with the controller. It's pretty tough because 2 of the buttons are actually triggers so the rebound on them is way slower. Plus, it's harder to hit heavy alt-strumming parts in general. KoC was hard at first until I learned the trick to it. I've beaten every song on Hard but One. My arm runs out of gas by fast solo 3. Also, the other day I hit around 70% of Mosh 1. I was stroked.

I haven't played rock band yet. I can't stand the look of it. Bright lights going everywhere and weird rectangle notes. There is like 100 downloads for it on XBLM though, unlike guitar hero.

Matt and I played the other night. He kicked my ass most of the time, except KoC. I just wasn't feeling it then. Since I beat the game on expert, my next goal is to beat Through the fizz and jizz. I can tap the intro on slow/er/est 100% everytime, but just can't seem to combo on full speed. I suspect I may be going too fast.

Scorehero Stats

Who else is on Scorehero?

EDIT: FINALLY tapped the intro 100% full speed, but failed at 16% :P

I'm on ScoreHero, but only with my GH2 scores. (m2thek)

I FC'd My Name is Jonas in an online pro face off, and the other guy beat me with like 98%

I FC'd My Name is Jonas with the optimal path, and got 58th, my highest score ever.

I also did Closer (251st), and Mississippi Queen (187th).

I plan to do Metal Heavey Lady and When You Were Young tomorrow.

Finally got an FC, mississippi queen at around 126k. I messed up the first activation. That stupid solo 1 messes with me.

I also have been going for 5* on every song. I'm only -7 songs away on the main setlist.

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.
