Uzzzi's tales form the UK

Post by uzzzi_t »

Having just completed a productive 30mins solo-shred (and due to the fact that my girlfriend doesn't have a clue/care) thought i would start a blog.

Having first got interested in footbag after seeing that K-Swiss advert last year i think it was i got off to a pretty slow start.

I had a Mr Sandbag and had modified an old pair of Vans, big mistake as they weighed a ton! Having been restoring a house for the last 6 months i wasn't able to practice as not only did i not have the time but my bag and shoes are packed away somewhere.

I bought some lavers, the tricks of the trade dvd and a sandmaster and have been practicing ever since. I found the sandmaster a bit big for my liking so got hold a another Mr Sandbag and have really been improving this week.

Hit an ATW del 4 times tonight which i was really pleased with. Going to keep practicing that and my toe and inside stalls. I should probably concentrate one just one of them at a time but i get bored easily so need to able to vary things a bit.

So the aim for next week, apart form starting a new job and finishing the house, is to get hit ATW on both sides and maybe start practicing mirage.

That's all from the UK for now, must go and have a cup of tea

had a good 30mins session last night.

ATW are geeting better but need a lot of work on my flipside.

started to hit leg overs now but most of the time the bag's rolling off.

have ordered an Abshire 32, looking forward to it arriving.

need to work on the consistancy of my sets as i think this is effecting how often i can land dex moves.

should hopefully have another 30 min session tonight

Sounds like you're making some good progress!
How many consecutive toe stalls can you make, alternating feet?

Try to be patient and take the tricks one (or two) at a time, and if your flipside feels weak, start the drilling with your weak side first. Eventually it'll catch up.
