Is Colorado still inhabited?

Post by full nelson »

I received a volunteer opportunity through Americorps in the San Luis Valley. If I take it, I'll be living there for a year starting in August.

I remember watching Sultans of Shred when I was new and wishing I could live in CO. If I could have done this then, I would have driven the 4 hours or so to Boulder all the time to play with a crew of that caliber.

My understanding is that Rippin' lives there too still. I overheard some of the "old guard" at Worlds talking about how he wanted to make it down to FL, but couldn't make it. Still, worth a shot emailing him.

Also, SKB and Jose live in Denver and I'm pretty sure they both still play.

My recommendation would be to DAFS on footbag.org and email everyone you find. You may hit a lot of dead ends but it only takes 5 minutes of your time. Kinda like throwing some spaghetti up against the wall and seeing what sticks.

i'm still here. i see rippin' now and then. he's busy with work but i'm slowly goading him back into it. we did a demo a few months back and will probably do another in the spring here. cocolan will probably get in the hang of things once it starts warming up. I'm moving in August though, so we could play for maybe like a month before I head out...
