That shit was awesome
Portland was badass!! Real glad I went. Thanks guys.
Portland was fun! We brought up four kickers in all, Eddy, Alex, Shawni, and myself. James and Casey both excused themselves at the last moment, they unfortunately missed out on a fantastic trip.
New stuff for me:
Montage Rake off the toe
Toe Flurry
More Consistent MoFly's
Fairy Gyro Illusion mulitple times
Alpine Blizzard > Tripwalk
Everyone played really well and we shifted locations a few times but everything ended up going good. Landes is off the chain with some of his moves and links. He hit 69 > Blurry Torque super easily, and linked a phat string out of it.
Hopefully we can do this again very soon, because every time these two groups meet up, good things happen. Thanks again P-Town, you're great.

Oh my freaking GAWD! *Rolls Eyes* Portland was so awesome. The sun was out and it was soooo freaking nice to play outside again. Kicking with new faces is so exciting and people were flashing pictures of us everywhere. I've never had someone come up to be and be like "can I take a pic of you doing that?" It was really different!
I got to kick with Red's crew who have so many people from all skill levels. It was so cool to see that many people come together just because they love footbag. Geez I wish we could have made it to the jam down in Cali but we'll go Spring Break. Everyone busted and had a lot of fun.
Did I mention the best part? The pizza was SO AMAZING! When you go back to Portland ask Red what kind of pizza that was because it was...so good. It was fun to be in Red's basement munching on the best thing since footbag was invented and watching Nick and Aaron play bare foot together.
My legs hurt I think a few days rest will do me well.

Yeah, that pizza was stupid good!
Kicked with James, Alex, and Toby last night. Alex keeps hitting everything he hits the session before and more. It's crazy to know that he nails paradox whirl midrun these days. Toby is hitting butterfly > paradox illusion now. He says he is trying to really establish comfortable links in time for the next competition.
James also showed up somewhat late, he didn't know where the Wednesday sessions went down, but now he does. He definately has a super solid guiltless foundation.
No new hits for me but I really liked this illusioning combo:
Blizzard > Smudge > Eggbeater > Flail

Combine two cans solid white albacore tuna in mixing bowl.
Add 4 Oz Non-Fat cream cheese dispatched over tuna.
Add 1/2 Finely Cut Red Tomatoe
Add Two Stalks Finely Cut Celery
Original:
Top with Salt/Pepper
Spicy:
Add 8-10 Sliced Jalepenos
Top with Red Pepper
Do not stir or mix contents.
Pour Egg Beaters Egg Whites around tuna until a thin layer is created around the dish. The eggs will bake around and underneath the tuna.

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

Who is Erik Chan? Does he just yell at people on modified for reposting things and clean up modified? Did he start this website or something? He's doing a pretty good job at keeping modified pretty organized if he is who I think he is...I'm just confused about who this dude is. Also..explain to me what a mod is! When someone says "BUMP" what does that mean...and can you edit out stuff you post?

Erik Chan is the creator of Hackrifice, a Canadian footbag website that was one of the first freestyle footbag lands of the internet. Without Erik, I wouldn't have understood half the shit I know today because his videos and information were so spot on. He doesn't own this website, but I do believe he is a mod, which is short for moderator. He has the ability to edit and delete and move posts.Shawni wrote:Who is Erik Chan? BUMPing is just adding a post to a topic so it stays fresh and allows other people to view it instead of going to the second or even third page to find the topic.
You can edit stuff out of your post by clicking the edit button at the bottom of the post once you are already logged in. You cannot edit every post though, if some posts are too old, then you cannot edit them.

Yeah last session was sweet. I want to play OUTSIDE! I think next week will be pretty good at U of O turf. I'm so excited. Still haven't hit whirl. Damn, back to the videos! Still drilling basics, still freezing up on rip and run style comps. Nothing really new except I hit butter>swirl no problem last session.
