Inside: The inside is the best inside on any freestyle shoe I have played in. It is so good. It is like a laver with a little bit of curve. It is better that the unit because it doesnâ€™t mess up your sets. Itâ€™s also super easy to get swirl sets off. I hit swirling whirl and swirling legover within minutes of getting the shoes. Iâ€™ve never done those tricks before. The inside has the same material as the rest of the shoe, and the material is excellent. Little grip, little give, excellent.

Toe: The toe kind of sucks, but I think if I played in the shoes more I would adapt because I was getting more used to it. The bag sits a little bit too low on the toe for me and I feel like I have to come forward to really get the set off. Itâ€™s hard to describe but the unit toe is a lot better. The walls are nice though and are a good size. The material performs well too. I just feel like there is some sort of bubble with the toe, like it domes out, which doesnâ€™t work well for stalls.

Ok, so now is the part where you should be thinking â€œwhy is a person who wore the shoes 4 times writing a review?â€

What I like about Q2:

- The overall feeling. The shoe sits nicely on your feet providing
adequate feedback from the bag you're using.

- The inside curve. It is perfect, no more messed up sets.

- The toe. Yeah, unlike most people I've been enjoying it.

- The size and weight of the shoe.

- Laces, tounge, heel cup. Perfect!

- Colors. Of course, more colors would be sweet!

What I don't like about Q2:

- The sole. Extremely slippery!!! I will not consider buying Q3 if
nothing is changed about the sole.

- The insole. It's cheap. Not a problem if you own a pair of Spencos.

I am very satisfied with the purchase and am willing to support Planetfootbag in the future!

i actually realy enjoy playing with the standard quantum insoles. they are much more confortable than anything ive ever played with or any shoe that ive worn for that matter. perhaps this will change once i try out some spenco soles.

I forgot about this thread.

i have quantums and i think the inside surface was a suprise. really outstanding.

the toe i despise. i agree with dave. its all too awkward but i have adapted to it but it would be really nice to have a laver toe attatched to the rest of the quantum

the fabric is ripping in multiple places including a 2 inch hole on the outside surface. it doesnt effect my game but i'd rather not have a hole in my shoe and it's expanding. this is after 3 months of owning the shoes.

my overall opinion. great idea but i wouldnt buy them again. too expensive for a shoe that will only last for a few months.

used them at worlds. competed in them and did alright. i dont use mine anymore tho.... lavers are better

My thoughts about the shoes: the inside surface was great, I felt like I had more control over my osis's and other stuff.
But I really liked the toe too, I actually hit smog after a few tries, which is a move I have hit before, indeed, but uses to fail.
So please don't go change the toe for the next version

I must have been lucky, cause on both pairs of quantum's I've had, the sole hasn't cracked. All rips and tears are of my own doing, like climbing a fence. Anyways i love Quantum's, and i happen to love the toe surface as well, i really don't think it should be changed. It works for me really well. Though i think the fabric could be a bit thinner, but oh well. Can't wait to see what they do with the Quantum03.

I'm having hard time using my quantums in the gym we usually play in (slippery issues), so I've been wearing them as my casual shoes for the past 3 days and I gotta say they feel great, very breathable and looks as fly as lavers do.

i really wanted to post about how mad these shoes made me

they didnt make it past worlds when i got them. i had them for maybe 2 weeks. 2 weeks before a shoe's sole cracks? thats not good at all.

i dunno. i didnt get my moneys worth out of them and i doubt i would buy them again unless the sole gets fixed

This is what i think of the quantums.

They are my main shoe right now, I like them a lot, i bought mine a day or 2 before worlds, and they are still in pretty good condition, i think that the factory that makes your shoes is incosistent, making it so some of the shoes came out the way you wanted them to come out, and some of them lacking.

things i like:

-the inside surface, I really like the material you used for the insides, you can feel the bag well, and its not too thick.
-the toe is OKAY, not the best but maybe making it a little smaller or somethign would be better in my opinion.

things i dont like:

-how i constantly have to re-tighten then because they feel loose after a while of shredding in them.
-the durability of the sole. Now i DONT have the same problems as everyone else it seems, but the sole seems to wear away faster than normal shoes.

here pictures of my quantums, ive used them EVERYDAY outside most of the time since last august.

the outside(still in really good condition):

The insides(dirty, and the glue connecting the sole and the inside material together is slightly coming apart, but i think its due to my excessive tightening sometime:

The sole(really warn, but still playable for the next coming months):

the toes(other than being really dirty from playing outside a lot, they are fine as well):

so, i think these shoes are a definite upgrade form the 01, and I would (probably will) buy another pair.
