depends on your preference.

Bigger footbags are easier to see and often tend to be a bit more floppy and a bit more heavy, which leads to more stalliness. However, smaller footbags are a little bit easier to dex, and because they tend to be a bit tighter in their feel, they tend to set a bit more truly, and they're less likely to get caught on your toe walls if you use those.

I have been using non-mini footbags lately. I think they look better in the air, and the force me to set a little more precisely, and I really like the feel of them.

I prefer mini bags because they set really well and they force me to really have crank for osis and stepping sets since they tend to be a little rolly.

Ok thanks, And what stichers do you reccomend? I was thinking about getting a abshire, but im not sure how to contact richard. I was just going to order one but from my understandings they just send you a random color combo.. Im looking for a Specific color combo... (Blue and red) any Reccomendations? (spelt that wrong lol)

I recommend me.

I can make a bag that will be good for your level of play (whatever that may be) and I can do whatever color you want.

but then, any stitcher can do that

I recommend you go to the "bags I've stitched" post in Bags and Equipment and look through it to see who has the bags you like the most.

My personal favorites are Waylon, Aidan, Dave Clavens, and, of course, I love my bags. Good luck picking a the one you want.

Yeah, ive been looking through the fourms and ive seen some nice bags of yours, and other peoples. I was thinking of gettin a zeb one of urs abshie or davids What one would you recomend? (i dont mind if you say yours are the best) And how much are your bags? And i havent really "freestyled" before lol... i normaly just "Hack" with a Croched bag (spelt wrong) And i hack with Nike Shox =D yeah i know, i was looking into some rod lavers... but i figured i should buy a bag first... so i can break it in by the time i get the shoes.

I can't really recommend one over the other. Bags are all about what you do with them. I haven't kicked with one of Zeb's bags, but I've used the other three. I recommend that you pick the one that looks prettiest to you, because you're gonna get a different product from every one of the stitchers you mentioned, they're all gonna be good, and they're all gonna be a little different.

I can tell you straight up that if you get a bag from me, you will like it. Making a good footbag is not hard. Playing good with a footbag is. Just get something decent to kick and keep your toes under it.

Don't worry about breaking in too much. IF you get a quality footbag it should be good to go from the very beginning. It will eventually break in, become loose and get holes, but IMO performance of a good footbag does not change significantly over time. David Clavens (dc on the forum) stitches very nice footbags. If you want one, simply PM him.

If you haven't freestyled before maybe you should consider getting a 4 panel sand bag? Those are very good bags too.

If you have a bitt extra money, just buy a bag from each of the stitchers you mentioned.
Tell them the same specifications (same colour, weight, etc.) and compare which bag fits best to your style of play.

He doesn't have his style of play yet, he's new to the sport.

Well i dont have "Shred" sessions, But i can land like clippers ect... and i can hack really good. I use Nike shox and a crochet bag tho =p Works for now

if you still wanna hack with your friends then i dont think you should get a 32 just yet. or at least ask them to not boot it or toe scrape it etc.

All of my friends use there hands to pick up our bags anyways, So i dont have to worry about people stepping on it. Thanks for the advice tho

I highly recommend a "Cuddle Bag" by Tom Mosher and Pengpeng Du. They are like a hybrid mix of beginner Mr. Sandman bags in playability and durability, and the weight and feel of a 32.

You can't go wrong.
I played with these for a long time, as an "experienced" freestyler with, like, 5 years under my belt. I wish they had been around when I had started!
