Are some colors better than others?

I read about some people saying how some colors are thinner than others, If so what is the best color combos? (no animal print) Not for looks. But for "feel" and "playabality"

No, we're all just past the honeymoon and getting annoyed at this point. You have yet to buy a bag, but have gotten a million responses from newbs to experts, the more important thing is getting shoes. I personally recommend lavers, I think they're the best shoe to start with. Depending on where you live, they could have them in sporting goods stores. Otherwise the best place to get them would be www.worldfootbag.com or www.freedomfootbags.com has them too I think.

Get shoes. Get ANY bag you feel like, no matter the recommendation. Bags aren't infinite anyway so you'll eventually kill it and have to buy another. The funny thing is, no 32 is going to be able to play as good as a Mr. Sandbag for YOU. Because you're new, you don't have to basic skill to control a small, rolly footbag. Mr. Sandbags are almost everyone's first bag. Get one, they're 8 bucks from Freedom Footbags. Hell, I think there's even some package on one of those sites mentioned that sells the shoes, a Mr. Sandbag AND a tricks of the trade DVD! all for the price of the shoes! Now GO young buck! It's not bad, everyone just don't want the forums filled with new threads of questions that have already been asked a bunch of times.

Just flip through the pages. You definitely find some sort of answer, if not, PM one of the people who could help you.

That's true, I also got the hint when people told me the exact same thing we're telling you. Browse the first couple pages of this sub forum, also check out the stickies. Do the same thing for any other topic of interest you have, such as the Getting Started forum. Then, if you still can't find what you're looking for and are SOOO curious, idk maybe PM someone. They teach you how to look up things in school. If you were in a library, wouldn't you at least TRY to use the system they had to look up knowledge? Or would you go back to the librarian every single time you had a question?

Really if I was a mod, I would just post the answer to your questions in the top sticky for all to reference. That way every time a new person comes in to make this topic, I could just point to the sticky, and all their questions would be answered. However, I'm not a mod, and the moderation on this forum isn't that great. Colin seems to be doing an overall decent job on his own with moving stuff, but this site has never had great moderation.

lol But yeah Chris you are right we should have a sticky that says All beginners go here. And it tells you everything... EVERYTHING. Clubs in all areas, Pros, Bags for beginners and SHOES ALS the shoes. Stiching and what it is about. Than what they should try to attempt first. Like Stalls, inside stalls, mirages ECT. <3

Trevor, if you would just read that, you would have all your questions answered.

you asked chris, how is asking questions bad? isn't that what forums are for?

Questions aren't bad, but when questions have already been answered and you're putting no effort at all into finding the answers that are readily available in topics with names like "I'm Just Getting Started, What Should I do First?", then, I'm sorry to say, you become annoying.

now, granted, making good color choices for your footbags is not covered in that post I just directed you to, but YOU DON"T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT.

You seem to think that if you ask enough questions, you'll buy the perfect footbag, and that will be the greatest thing ever. There is no perfect footbag and you are worrying about it way too much. You've been given lots of different advice by lots of different great players, and if you'd stop trying to get more and just take ANY of the advice you've been given already, you'd be happy. I PROMISE.

I'm sorry for the caps, but there's some concepts here that really don't seem to be getting through to you yet.

Take some of the advice you've already been given before you ask for more.

The best thing to do is to keep in contact with a player already involved in the footbag community personally and locally around your area, since that person would be able to provide information for resources on bags, equipment, training tips, and a place to meet and play. I mean, what's better than to have another footbagger to play with around your area?

It's an awesome feeling.
