Bag Loss

i've lost probably more bags than anyone else ever. i've lost more than 20.

caution is the only thing that can deter bag loss. true prevention is impossible. In the past year, I've lost 2 choice MC bags, and 18 months ago or so, I lost my choicest, awesomest lonn bag right after hitting downtime your mom with it for the second time. I went in the pool with my girlfriend, and never saw it again.

Lately I always have a bag in my hand it seems(or on my feet). Sometimes I leave them on my lap when I'm in the car driving. (I don't know why either?) Well because I listen to my radio to loud I did not hear my bag drop off my lap when I got to where I was going (home depot). I did not figure it out till I got home. It was gone when I got back to look for it. It sucked becuase it was just turning into a good bag. It was kinda stiff when i got it. It break in then broke out

. No more taking 3 bags everywhere with me anymore. Now I know when one is gone.

I tend to have super amazing luck when it comes to losing bags. I can do whatever i want with them, and they come right back. Like once i dropped my favorite bag down an elevator shaft. The little crack was just big enough for a footbag. Well, we talked to people in the building, and was able to get the bag back forty minutes later. Though i may not be able to lose one of my bags, the same can't be said about other people. I won't lose it if i borrow it, but if you hand it to me, and a minute later i don't know where it is, be afraid. Cause it's unlikely you'll find it again soon.

i lost my first ever stitched bag down a drain while hacking with my girlfriends brother in france outside an art gallery

Rubbish bag but the sentiment was there. we were contemplating lifting up the grill and lowering someone in there by their ankles! but decided against it when we realised... it was a ridiculous idea and it was a busy street!!

And i never shredded near a drain again...

^. I still have yet to lose a bag. i have bags that i couldn't find at times, but found like 10 mins later so i wouldn't consider that losing, just misplacing or forgetting its location.

It's years since I've lost a footbag. Actually I lose them in my flat fairly regularly, but they always turn up eventually. I once lost a Hermey bag (don't know what happened to that guy, but I owe him a footbag, and he owes Ian like $10, so maybe I'll just give Ian the money and we'll call it even...

) and then found it a few months later when I left the grill on and destroyed my parents stove. It was found when we took the burnt out stove away - total win

I think the secret to not losing footbags is to have a specific spot for them, and just remember to put them there. Also think about what's around you when you play and be careful.

I lost my Tom Mosher bag at Worlds last year. It was pink and blue bipolar design, with two panels that were Small Pony:

I'm still sort of fuzzy on how it was lost. I remember giving it to Pengpeng Du or Tom Mosher to have it refilled, and then it suddenly disappeared. I don't ever remember getting it back. Maybe it was lost in one of those houses at Terra Verde.

It was a good bag. Me and Tom agreed that it would have been killer with his new steel shot filler mix (it was previously filled with lead).

I have the same problem.

I fall asleep with a footbag or two in my hand and wake up with them somewhere on my bed though.

Yeah, who doesn't sleep with footbags? I always sleep with at least one, usually it's either my main bag or one that I'm breaking in and I fall asleep hand massaging it. Hey, Jimi Hendrix used to sleep with his guitar

I lose stuff all the time, and when it comes to bags, only my BEST bags do I lose. It's been about 6 months since I've lost one though, so I'm gonna try to keep that trend going.
