Sequel?? Hmm. I'm not thinking about that. Iliked the first one. If they do make a sequel I would watch it. But I dont care if they dont.

There were so many things left out and so many details leading to a sequel, if they dont do one i would be stunned.

Good contribution. I guess that's why you're on most people's ignore list.

i give this movie a "meh..."

it was alright. It doesn't make sense that the jumpers would be any less than 300 pounds... teleport over to the remote control? "Walking is your health's best friend!" - poster in the library at my school

teleportation would be a sick super-power though

I heard on the radio and also saw somewhere on the internet that it's actually supposed to be a triligy movie set.

More on topic: The movie was definitely entertaining. It totally teases you the entire time, because the who the hell doesn't want to be able to teleport?

And yeah, I thought the girl was kinda lame. I like the ending a lot though. (I would've decked that lady in the face and killed her right there if she had told me that...)

I'd say a solid 8/10.

Yeah the ending was definitely one of those "just in case we want a sequel" endings. But I did really enjoy the movie.

This is easily the most common comment made about movies that are based on books. "Oh, the book was much better." Why, because it lasted longer and was in greater detail?

I love books just as much as anyone else, but seriously, why can't people appreciate good movies as well?

Not meant to take away from your opinion of course. Your statement could be legitimate, but you see a lot of people that jump on the "book was better" bandwagon. Kinda like how FireFox users tend to think they're special for using something besides Explorer or something.

I thought this movie was pretty bad. I thought the plot was a mess and had mediocre acting, though the other teleporter was okay. (I was all excited because I thought "The Tomorrow People" on Nick was one of the coolest shows as a kid.) It seems like about everyone liked it though so that's cool. Guess it just wasn't for me.

Thankyou I was getting worried. The storyline was terrible. The main character didn't make you like him at all, he was an ass. He ignored people in trouble and put a guy behind bars who, although an asshole, was innocent? The chick was damn fine and in the words of my mates mum "I'd watch her walk across the room" but she's the same in every movie.

The actual teleportation was really cool and was the only saving grace for me. I actually enjoyed watching it a lot despite all it's terrible shortcomings. The other teleporter was also the only likable character in the movie, I loved him :D

The start was terrible - from the opening lines I hated him... "let me tell you about my day" *spew*

There was such an emphasis on the age of 5, to the point where he said to the chick "You were always the one, ever since I was 5" so you then expect her to have some sort of connection with all this, but she just doesn't. What the. I suppose this is an opening for a sequel or something but it still annoys me.

Dude dropped Rolland in the desert.... I don't buy it. The guy killed his dad and he's been told they've been hunting them for centuries. One act of kindness isn't going to change the fact that Rolland is a religious nut and will stop at nothing... stupid.

The final meeting with the mum was pathetic and annoyed the heck out of me. Sister appears, but does nothing.

They walk off and the storyline so far is actually *begging* them to find some quaint town in the middle of nowhere and settle down, never jump again. They can't be tracked, they're happy, voila. I guess the problem is, the whole storyline was a setup for a sequel, and didn't satisfy in any way on it's own merits. Lame!!

What I did like was the action. Rather enjoyed that.

SPOILERS**

you would think that he would continue with the war instead of runnin around with his gf. i mean the paladins are still out there arnt they .roland couldnt be the only one who was a leader type figure in the organization. i mean even his mom said she was giving him a "head start" as in we will continue to chase you.

i didnt like samuel jackson in the movie either. just made it stupid especially cause he had white hair. AND he didnt say mutherfucker. not once. thers no point in putting him in a movie if he doesnt say that.

I WANT THESE MUTHER FUCKING JUMPERS OUT OF MY MUTHER FUCKING WORLD UNIVERSE!

also WHY DID DAVID GET HIT WITH THE TASER EVVVERRRY TIMMEEE he like frikken sucks at dodging. the other guy was like watcha im fucking night crawler and im a beast.

and the girl was hot LOL.

You gotta remember, however, that he never really liked his father. Dropping him in the desert with no food or water would be sufficient enough for me.

Also, I can't really agree that the storyline was that bad.. Yeah, it had a few flaws, and it wasn't great or even close to great. But it wasn't horrible either. Seemed so-so to me. -_-
