josh raye makes a great footbag. One of his is one of my faves right now.

good luck finding other players. don't be afraid to encourage your friends to play as well, show them some jorden moir vids on youtube.

Make sure you check facebook for fellow players, especially in colleges around your area.

Ive tried getting my friends into it and i ever gave them a footbag to play with, but they just quit after a week or two. Im only in middle school so i cant drive, but my mom would. I had another josh raye but these kids at my school that think footag is gay stole it from me. and i have moirs sessions so i show my friends that but they think they will be that good right away and when they arent they get mad.

I understand all of that stuff, that's for sure! That's how it was for me, until I was a little older and moved to a bigger city. not sure if you're from a big city or what... anyway, footbag's not really for most people, and a lot of people will think it's weird and not want to play or even, as you've found out, harass you about it.

Try to get to a tournament as soon as possible, that will reinforce that it's all worth it ;)

I want to get to a tournament i might get up to grass if my mom wants to go to ny for some reason. I live in a suburb of charlotte and most of the clubs arent kicking any more. i found that other raye bag, but it was cut in half. And if you know of any footbaggers in colorado i go out there all of july.

Today i dedicated my session to drilling, but mostly atomic mirage. I kept getting so close. I just kept hitting the footbag with my toe and not getting it back up. I hope i get to shred with ryan thomas soon but i have to talk to my mom about it. If anyone has some tips on atomic mirage please comment.

With atomics I've recently re-discovered that a defined down->up motion with my foot before the set really helps clean it up. Think, down...up. You should be doing this before pixie as well.

Thanks for the tips on atomic set. Today i had another session dedicated to drilling. I must have drilled for at least an hour and a half and the other half i spent trying swirls and whirls. I got the whirl pretty good. I hit it five times. Swirl is a bit harder and i dint get it but i will soon. :D

keep playing. solo sessions are what make people better.
