Here is a video of a song I wrote just over a year ago. I figured this was the right place to put it. It's the only video of me playing, I'm hoping to put out a few more soon.
The sound quality isn't the greatest, and the song has since been re-written using fingerstyle guitar, and another guitarist who replaces the "Ooohhh Oohhh" part at the end. I don't do that anymore.
But I still think this is a fun little video. Keep in mind that I was ridiculously intoxicated . It was New Years Eve '06.
Yeah man, amazing video! Loved the song, great chord selection, and you have a great clear voice. Preferred the slower parts at the start then then the faster part at the end, though.
I added a new one to my MySpace.. basically, reuploaded Steel Drum with lyrics, it's actually the intro to my hiphop demo with Mr.S, entitled "Odds and Ends".
Thanks guys. The end of the song is the part that I've re-written, and I mellowed it down a bit and the other guitar makes it a little more relaxing. I had actually only been singing for just under a year at that point.
My favorite part of the video is actually after the song, when I pop in and out of the fun. And some really funny things are said during that little party time excellent.
Laroche, nice work with the french lyrics. I dig it, and understand it

I really like Seb's voice in that one, better than Lounge Freestyle! It's more classy and he really takes advantage of the softness of his voice with that kind of singing, compared to the first one. That's my two-cents ^_^
Wow good stuff james and k-crow. I liked 2 and 3 the best from Hanz. They kinda remind me of background songs in old 80s TV movies, like the ones they show in health class or whatever.
Thanks Chris. I've really into borderline-ambient, minimal, neoclassical music with lots of piano, strings, and choir lately if you couldn't tell by those last two tracks
...which I took down. I'm gonna figure out some more music when I get the chance and post a bunch of songs at once. Chances are that it won't be till much later in the year though
That's funny you say neoclassical, because when I think of that, I think of the metal version of neoclassical. http://youtube.com/watch?v=bWVyO4gSq24 which I don't think I've ever heard you listen to.
