fractured baby toe?

Post by acxel22 »

I hurt a baby toe really bad over a week ago, it may be fractured. It seems ok when you look at it, but it hurts if I press hard on it.
It's really hard to shred close to 50% of my potential as well, balance is messed up.

Anyone had something similar

I know I'm an idiot for not going to the hospital, but I will do that this thursday. Looking for some advice until then

Tape it for support, then tape it to the toe next to it in the meantime. Buddy-taping is basically all they will tell you to do even if it is fractured. You can't exactly put a cast on a toe.

yeah, there isn't muc you can do about it. I had my coach tell me that a guy ran a whole cross-country season with broken toes, because his doctor said.."they'll heal whether you run on them or not, its the pain that'll be the option" but im not so sure if id run 7-9 miles a day with broken toes.

Just be careful not to brake stuff!!

Just cut the toe off. You won't need it.

I agree, cause if you do that, you will never have to worry about knee problems.
