These play well in pool shred. I remember a few times that a chainmail bag was used in pools at Worlds last year.

I guess I didnt post it on the item on the site, but if you break it you get free lifetime repairs. Just send it back and i'll fix it for you.
Some thing I wont fix, like if you run it over with a semi or shoot it out of a shotgun (yes, it *has* happened) but if you pop a few rings and the innards spill out i'll repair for free.
Well, for one the rubber rings cost more to get than the all metal ones. And it takes about 3 times as long to put one together. Trying to assemble the right shape and pattern when half of the rings cant be opened takes some thought and skill.
Its like making a sphere out of square Lego pieces. Its possible, but not simple ;P
i don't mind paying a the extra bills for the rubber, but can you post a brief explanation of the playing benefits of each footbag.

what does the rubber/metal bag do better than the all metal bag and vice versa?
are the rubber/metal bags any less durable than the all metal ones?
aluminium is a pretty soft metal ... do they really last virtually forever?
I was wondering if it was possible to apply some kind of sand or grit mixture to the links that would dry. i always liked playing with them, but they are hard to shred with cause the metal doesn't really grip your shoe. i bet if you could make the links abrassive it would work pretty well.
the rubber ones work kinda like that. The rubber rings give lots more grip, and have the added bonus that they are also squishier, so if you step on them while shreding they are more forgiving.
i'd get one but i have no idea of how they play. I've never seen a metal footbag in person. Do they hurt when you kick them? lol. And how much do they weigh?
