remember to flip it so it looks like a footprint, not a picture of the bottom of a shoe!

can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for spearheading this project thus far, mike. I think this is going to be the best GRASS yet!

Incidentally, my band has a gig in Geneseo on the Saturday of GRASS... where is the big saturday party going to be, and is anyone interested in having a live band there?

edit: page 80!!! I remember when this was just a little baby blog ;)

Sometimes I like to go back through it and see lots of cool stuff that we've done in the past few years. I recommend you guys give it a browse.

Paul,

I have the video from your camera now in mpeg format. Do you want me to make a GRASS video with this footage or just a standard shred video? Personally, I did not do anything in this video I feel is worth being in a shred video. But perhaps you or Chris would like to see your highlights.

Maybe get rid of the exclamation mark? But with or without I like it a lot.

maybe add Rochester Footbag Association and footbag to it? maybe Rochester Footbag Association punctuated by a footbag? Also, the "footprint" doesn't really convey contact from the wearer of the shoe to the wearer of the shirt, but it DOES look cool as it is.

great start, mike. I'm feeling good about GRASS this year. This head start you've spearheaded can only be a good thing. any word from Red Bull yet? if not, I will take over on that.

event name needs to be more prominent. it currently looks like we're holding an event called Stand Clear of the Blades

I wish I had some CAD / photoshop experience and skill so I could be more than a critic. I feel kinda like a dick.

Cool design Mike. My only suggestion would be to make the toe of the laver pointing toward the word "SHRED" and the heel pointing toward the word, "BLADES." Idk if people would like that though so feel free to disregard it. I look forward to seeing the finished product!

Btw, when are people available to play this week?

Cool, Thursday night sounds good.
Regarding the design, I meant diagonally. So the toe points toward the word "SHRED" and then the sole is positioned diagonally in a way that the heel is near the word "BLADES". Idk if the program your using will allow you to do that or not though...

Thursday would be great. Can we say 7:30 PM at RIT?

As for the logo, I am using Adobe Photoshop CS2. It can pretty much do anything. Not sure about myself though. :wink:

Doug,

As for the shoe print being set diagonally, I am trying to keep the entire design short so that it can be placed over the chest of the shirt and not take up the entire front of the shirt. I feel smaller logos that are placed over the chest of a shirt are easier to identify and read than logos that take up the entire front side of a shirt. But, that's just one little bear's opinion.

mike, I think it's a good idea to keep things "central" as well. also, I liked the logo better before the shoe got flipped.

logo's starting to look pretty nice.
