Heres a picture from this summer
Image

On another note I'll make a video of some highlights from my january sessions. Really nothing big at all since my efforts are mostly towars stepping sets, but not working as good as I hoped for.

Today I hit symple rev swirl for the first time in units, I could hit that in lavers 2 years ago but never in units, also footed gyro symple rev swirl many times..

after months of struggling, I seem to be back on the road to progress

Tonight my spinning whirl was the best as ever, deepest gyro whirls ever as well.
I was trying all sorts of links that came out of nowhere like spin whirl>far swirl .. it's fun when new links are happening without even thinking about trying

my symple rev swirl is getting better, hit it many times, had a cool combo: symp whirl>dyno>symple rev swirl

other then that my mobius was on as well, had a few flipside too, I've been missing the damn move for a long time in my repertoire.

No big runs, but getting better,

ripwalk>rev swirl bs, cant bsos yet
spin clip>ripwalk> rpt wasnt too hard, just the flip ripwalk (3rd move)

mobius>ripwalk.. forget it, way too hard right now

other shitty highlights of the week, flip whirls getting more natural slowly..
hit boring drills like infinity>whirl>rpt>driver>whirl>rpt
vortex>whirl>infinity>rpt

hmm close to pixie whirl>torque bsos

I am in no way pleased of my progress these days, I have less and less motivation and feel this will not change until I can use my bike again and play outside. I lost part of my good shape, I need to do more activities.

Just realised there is a new online comp, so I took my cam and went for a sess

If I go for my easy tricks, I can still string for 15+, but I tend to always push a bit too much.

Smog is still getting better, was getting one out of 3

hit 2 boring sick 3's since I had troubles hitting my combos
either assassin>assassin>assassin or vortex>vortex>vortex talk about creativity :D
Got a sick one that will rank in the bottom, but I was happy getting it first try: gyro symple rev swirl

pixie duckings where getting back on track, they sucked lately.
flip fairy is loosing all I gained lately, fairy legover is hard again :(

another short session, but not so negative.

You see that game against the Rangers the other night? I can't believe I didn't stop watching it half way through. Never in my life have I had faith rewarded so well.

first sess in a week, could'nt play due to a baby toe injury, I hit it so hard on a bench and it was almost broken

Almost no pain left.

Actually the session was'nt a real one, it was on my rooftop in the snow. Really slippy, still managed a mobius. Many moves made me loose balance, but it was fun

toe seems getting better
had a sess with Sergey, was really fun and added a lot of motivation to my game

I hit some good runs, and had my first pigbeater (really easy) and some flip symple rev swirls (had bsos!)

I haven't played with that bag yet! But things will change, I lost my pocket bag yesterday.

We were playing in a subway station, and when the bag went flying away, by the time Sebastien ran to where it should have been, well.. it was gone. So someone stole it really fast! Unfortunate...

Positive side: Hit symple rev swirl bsos again, pdx torque almost bsos (they are coming back!), flip whirls getting more natural (still need speed).
pdx whirl x3 midstring

Mathieu is a great footbag player! I played with him twice, where I imagine his broken toe hurt him ALOT the second day. Anyway, you have awesome spins, which also makes your vortexs look amazing.

Pixie ducking is also very easy for you, I challenge you to relearn fairy ducking.

Thanks for being so hospitable, and inviting us to your house to watch the hockey game. You are a nice guy and hopefully if the montrealers come to Grass we can all shred again.

I will write more specifics in my blog later when I am not being rushed to dinner....

back from toe injury for real.

It's been about 4 weeks with less then 3 sessions total.

I played on wednesday and saturday, was pretty good considering the little I played lately.

New method for flip whirls, working really well, need to get used to it now.

flip pdx dlo seems easier.

footed spin pdx dlo

strong pixie ducking has a weak duck now, need to fix it, bag is too far in front of me, thus missing the head dex..

flip blender for the first time! all thanks to new flip whirl method (the same method wich I use on strong side)

Smog is getting better, need to try to hit it flipside in a couple of weeks, once flip pdx dlo is better.

I'm doing lot of situps and pushups lately, wich is why I guess those lfip pdx dlo's are getting better.

Got home after work, completely exausted.. Watched TV and fell asleep.

When I woke up, completely tired, I had the great idea to go shred.

flip smog a couple of times, never hit this before!
flip pdx dlo a couple too
gyro whirl bsos
gyro dlo bsos
new ripwalk record: 6
atomsmasher bsos, both deep and controlled :D

finished shred session with Void within 3 attemps, havent tried for a while.

The new pushup workout is paying off.

2nd session in 2 days, haven't done this in a very long time, maybe december?

Anyways, I was very tired and had no strength

Still managed some tricks

flip whirl improvement: whirlx5 bsos
flip pdx whirl>motion

couple of flip smogs, but no massive run to seal it.

so close to smog bsos, had a couple of good flip ones today
strong smog midstring a couple of times
smokes are getting consistent, not missing often.

pdx blender midstring twice out of 2 attempts!

felt good.
