Mods can you do something about this topic? It doesn't meet the guidelines of the discussion subforum at all and it's full of crude attempts at humour and personal attacks and insults. It should be moved or deleted.

Despite some dumb argument, based around Dan, there is nothing wrong with this topic.

It's legitimately about getting hooked up with women... And there's nothing wrong with that.

And "crude humor" is not against the rules. Personal attacks and insults should be dealt with by mods through PMs and/or temporary bans. They really have nothing to do with the topic itself.

And just, where, would you move this topic? And I beleive the topic can't be deleted without some severe rule violations, which there are none. My stupid, crude, and completely unrational "women.." topic was a hundred times worse, and was not deleted.

You should really loosen up.

I find a good number of posts in this thread offensive, but I'm not about to leave modified over it. I would imagine it's the same way for other women on the forum who might find anything in here offensive awful, but I have talked with newer female members in the past who said that after reading some of the threads on the forum they didn't post for a long time after joining because they didn't want to deal with comments like the ones made in this thread.

Hate to be the nerd who makes everything a free speech issue, but I think I offered an alternate concept that hadn't been raised inthis topic, while also demeaning Jsack's character (Which he does to himself anyways). Jsack then bitched at me and reiterated his expert credentials for being a psuedo-player. Basically, all of it should stand. Why do you care what we say to one another Jeremy? Haven't you lost this argument before, right or wrong regardless?

Moxie, there are plenty of women that don't find most of the content in this topic to be offensive. I'm not saying you're ideas of what is offensive and what's ok is wrong or stupid or anything.

However, I find that illegal drugs in avatars and signatures is demeaning to the sport and that they shouldn't be allowed.

The point. The opinions of many, outweigh the opinions of the few, even when it comes to things that are offensive (which I honestly do find drugs to be offensive).

This is obviously wrong (the opinions thing I jsut said). It's true in many situations. That's why I think there should be a women's forum, and a men's forum. Accounts would be restricted from entering opposite forums automatically (no password bullshit). But that's just what I think.

That sounds like fifth grade health class. Besides, how many women frequently use this forum? If there was a separate women's forum, there's a good possibility that it might fall faster than Shreditas.com did.

I posted in some thread a while back and it's worth repeating.

Listen: this is a footbag forum, so we're going to apply some footbag values. Free speech is wonderful and all, but it takes a backseat to maintaining reasonable decorum. Footbag players take a lot of pride in how tight their community is, in how easy it is for any new person to start up and feel welcome, wanted. Threads like this shit all over that idea and benefit nobody.

I'm locking the thread, and that'll be the end of it. Any "MODIFIED FASCISM OMG" threads will be deleted, and accounts will be suspended - if you find this grossly offensive, then leave the damn forum. Any carry-over from specific personal arguments in this thread will be treated similarly. If you absolutely cannot go on without making a fuss about this, then PM me.

Semi-related note, lets give it a rest with the 'joke' discussion topics. Off topic goes in the KC.
